LVFR has created several video tutorials on YouTube for their Airbus aircraft including the recent updates. They are between 15 min and 30 min each and are worth the time in my opinion. There could have been a little more time spent on the new EFB but there was sufficient info to get started.
The 4th video might be able to answer your questions as it shows how to fly an arrival and approach in managed mode starting from the TOD to touchdown.
I’ve been flying the LVFR Airbus family since the recent update without issues except for those I’ve caused. I am quite impressed how well these aircraft fly arrivals and approaches.
