This is so basic that it is embarrasing. I write here now because I might be overthinking and going around in circles here.
A new yoke! What joy! Well it was until setup. Having calibrated it through Windows as recommended and then having gone into MSFS and having set the axes for both aileron and elevator, it is when I open the sensitivity dialogue that I notice that the central reference dot is diagonally up to the right of centre. Needless to say that the in sim response is rather eye opening too. Something seems distinctly out here. For reference, the yoke is the new Flitesim CLS60 FFB and I cant start tweaking the software until I get the basics right. Instinctively, I feel that this is more of a Win11 and MSFS rather than hardware issue and hope that somebody here can help. Thanks in advance (yet again)
I had a similar thing with rudder pedals, I thought Iād set them up properly in Windows but the sensitivity curve looked wrong and the brakes proved to be really vicious in the sim. There was an option in the Windows setup to āReset to Defaultā, which I did and now the brakes work perfectly.

Having more success today, until I enable āeffectsā which then has some strange behavior, but at least now, it seems to have moved it more to FFB Tools rather than native Win or MSFS. Just trying now to get a better feel for the issue to feed it down the funnel as we might say.
Flitsim has a discord site that will probably be very helpful. You may not be alone with your issue.
Questions: how long from order to delivery and which country?
I am still deciding on a yoke.

I am on the Discord site thanks but wanted a slightly more MSFS centric response here although that would have been a next step.
Today, I took out all of the Win and MSFS calibration and settingsand have redone those with the result that things are now appearing better than before.
The yoke is a biggish item and necessitated me removing almost my whole setup to get it in there and that bit has been and still is, a nightmare. All fittings, arms for monitors, desks even, seem an inch short at one end and this has aged me years in five days, cost me an arm and a leg and driven me mad, but I should know by now, never to touch anything at all and maybe never even get out of bed
Do I think it has been worth it? Too early to tell really. I have been using FFB entirely for 27 years now and the difference between stick and yoke is like that between night and day. The yoke let me move the throttle quadrant to my right side and the muscle memory is so deeply ingrained from having it on the left, that it is a real struggle and this new yoke user is left handed but has got so used to working with a right handed stick that it has thrown me completely! You couldnt believe it but it is true and that is why I feel behind the curve and unable to give a fuller and better response right now but after the improve, ment today, I see light at the end of the tunnel and it isnt an oncoming train.
I ordered in mid July and finally got it delivered here in UK on the 5th of this month. The shipping and import duties are not cheap, but the overall package is still on par with the likes of the Yoko and cheaper than the Brunners. From what I have heard on the grapevine, it is going to be very competitive to the new FFB sticks that are inbound and you get a much bigger bang for the buck in my opinion. I have been FFB HOTAS since around 2009 now and a yoke for me is a big improvement, but you do need some space for it. Early days yet, but there is promise here.

Muscle memory is powerful, but you will relearn.
I have a similar thing going on. I bought some mounts to change up how my Logitech panels are mounted to the table. Thoug the mounts werenāt ideal, parts from the kit allowed me to rejig things. Iāve now moved the switch panel from the left of the yoke, to the bottom of the radio/AP stack on the right. So now I have to use my right hand for switches, and the gear lever, flaps, and trim are all at different heights. Iām getting there though.

Thanks for the very informative reply!
I live in Canada and pay high shipping and duties, also lose 40% of Canadian dollar against the US dollar or Euro so ouch.
It says on their discord that they are looking at warehousing in the USA so that might help.
I guess I will have to wait a while longer
A couple of days further here and with a little more experience, I would say that any wait would be worth it. There is so much promise with this thing and it is only going to get better.
Again, thank you for your reply. It is truly appreciated.
I waffle so much I could be in a pancake house.
