Hi,
as written in the title. Since today and 1.6.23 I cant spawn in. The sim stays on bird’s view for hours with a data rate from the server of less than 50 kBit/s. If I want to restart I can’t shut down as the sim freezes completely and have to terminate it in the task manager.

Can’t confirm. No issue here. Seems to be an individual problem.
We had a group flight with 35 people. 32 could spawn in, three not.
Yes, I have this (I’ve done everything, including vanilla install and clearing clouds to overcome). May be a problem on ISP side (the game starts working normally usually after 1H00 - 1H30 am) or Microsoft/Azure/akamaized.net or whatever streaming services they are not able to detect.
Of cause, there may be another problems, like MSFS2020 content non-compatable for example
Same here… Cannot spawn and shut down sim. WTH is going on. Spent all day on this.
Had this today, seemed to narrow it down to a broken livery for the A380. Removed it, problem solved - quitting works, spawning works.
Same - this update is terrible. Essentially bricked my sim.
Same issue here, cant spawn in. Tried leaving the beta and then coming back in. Reinstalled the insider beta, then on the Xbox interface it says I still need an update. Click on that ands its stuck on preparing.
Trying to spawn in the the sim is crashing on this latest update. No error. Just crash to desktop.

Same for me this morning, can’t spawn of exit the sim.
I had the same experience yesterday which rather inconveniently on my side coincided with when I was making other changes, so I had easy way to figure out what it was. I only fly the Fenix A320, but also couldn’t launch with default aircraft either.
I also noticed two things, which were signs that the flight wasn’t going to load:
3 hours later, what I believe ended up fixing it for me was either doing a GSX update via their Live Update tool or updating the AIRAC (sim + aircraft) via Navigraph. Worth a shot if you use either.
Updated both, and unfortunately no change for me.
It was working fine for me at about 01H00 local time (+3UTC), and now I can spawn after 1H waiting, but this is all I can see (and no weather, by the way). As you can see there is some download speed
I’ve been carrying on today with what I was messing with yesterday (camera.cfg changes) and noticed that these files can be very temperamental, resulting in the same non-launching experience.
Do you have any custom camera configs that can be temporarily removed? Also, do you have the same issue with the aircraft configurator not opening? I’m wondering if the source of the issue is aircraft or other addons.
I do not have custom views, GSX or fenix currently installed… I also tried to rename the community folder, essentially no add ons. NOTHING. What is going on?? It must not be beta related because if I revert back to the non beta release, same thing happens.
1 hr ago I was able to spawn normal, but now it doesn’t work
After doing the GSX live update, it’s working again for me!
I’m having exactly the same issue. Initially it was intermittent, but now i can’t load a single flight. Thought it was linked to add-ons but still happening on SU4 with clean install and all disabled.
Reverting to SU3 and it works ok.
Did you clean your caches? This is automatically done via a downgrade from SU4 to SU3.
