A stationary ground camera often called an rc plane view that allows you to be on the ground and still have control of the plane in the air would be really fun especially for ga… might be a tricky one to figure out though.

You can do this with the drone camera unless I misunderstand. There’s a hotkey that toggles control between the drone and your aircraft. It’s “C” on PC by default. There’s also an option so the drone doesn’t move with the plane in the camera settings I believe.

Does @SkipTalbot 's drone-camera functionality provide what you are looking for, or are you looking for something in addition to this?
Yeah I think it would..if it’s working.. is this working in 2024? Because right now you can’t control the plane in fixed cameras like you could in 2020 so can you in the drone camera?
I can’t see any way to make the drone camera stationary while tracking the aircraft, which I think is pretty fundamental to the request.
