"Make it right" plane proposal - iniBuilds A350

In the Q&A Livestream on December 5th, MS pledged to make four new planes available to users as a gesture due to the issues the sim faced at launch. The first two are, as announced in the same Livestream, the Cessna 185 and the CAP-4 Paulistinha.
I believe both will be good additions, but I have a somewhat more daring suggestion for the final plane: the upcoming Airbus A350 by iniBuilds.

It makes sense on quite a few levels:
-IniBuilds and MS/Asobo are already close partners, to the point that Ini was entrusted with two first party offerings to 2020 and many more on 2024;
-the A350 is already in good progress and exclusive to 2024;
-Inibuilds prices their payware airliners very reasonably for what they are. Surely they and MS can negotiate a fair compensation for their work on the A350;
-This is of course a matter of taste, but IMO the first official A350 simulation just screams “Game of the Year edition” cover plane (please let’s not get into how we personally feel about 2024 right now, the point is having some kind of “special edition” for this sim, which is common practice in the industry);
-A high quality, state of the art airliner for no added cost is a strong compensation gesture. It would mean something

Do vote if you agree with this suggestion, and I hope it finds the developers in good health! Cheers!

I have to personally disagree with this proposal. The A350 is one plane I don’t want subjected to the extremely lengthy sim update processes. And I certainly don’t want it to be encyrpted with repainters struggling to make liveries for it.

I’ll be honest, direct updates (which only benefit third-party buyers, a part of PC simmers) and supposed non-encryption are not worth the ~$70 everyone will have to shell out. On Xbox these factors are completely moot, as well.
Just to keep the ball rolling, what airplane do you feel would be a solid “make-it-right” offer? Cheers

Inibuilds is not going to make their a350 free. They would lose so much money that way. Microsoft also isn’t going to pay them enough to make it worth it as adding the a350 for free isn’t going to bring in enough people to the game to make that much money. The planes they add will be some small obscure planes that nobody cares for. They also know that they don’t need to have a huge compensation for this launch because we paid for the game anyways and will keep playing it whether they provide compensation or not.

I dont think it is even going to come out this year, midway through december and no announcements.

Is the A350 even part of the LL/FF lineup? You can’t really expect Asobo/MS to purchase the A350 from iniBuilds just to give it away for free.

The free aircraft will be Local Legends and Famous Flyers, and it’s not reasonable to expect otherwise.

Strongly disagree. INIBuilds already sacrifices quality for the default airplanes to the point I have trouble trusting their payware planes. Let’s not allow the A350 to go down that road.

INI will not make a350 to the base game bud KEKW

Absolutely not! For A350, the best approach would be to allow iniBuilds to reach the highest quality possible, as it is such a rare bird for any sim platform. To let Microsoft intervene and make it a “default” or even “expert series” would definitely degrade its quality, and the amount of dedication that ini can theoretically put in it.
Also, as mentioned before, it would be a financial blow on ini.
I am most definitely prepared to purchase it for its full price.

PMDG and Fenix need to read this thread. They’re obviously leaving money on the table by not charging $150+ for their planes. Seems like simmers want to be fleeced out of their money. Is it a status thing?
