ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Making large changes to the dials on the mcp in boeing and airbus aircraft (I haven’t checked any GA aircraft) will disable all mouse buttons for several seconds.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
every time I change a dial by a lot

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load in any boeing or airbus aircraft (and probably any other aircraft)
  2. Hover your mouse over any dial and spin the mouse wheel for a couple seconds to change its value
  3. Stop spinning the mouse wheel and try clicking any button in the cockpit or holding right click to move the camera. None of the buttons on the mouse will work. You can still move the camera by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
  4. After a few seconds you will regain control

I have also had this issue in Cessna Caravan, 172 and the Cirrus Jet. Slightly annoying when you’re going onto short final and all of a sudden you can’t change your view in the cockpit, or make any changes to your instruments/change autopilot mode. HOTAS and keyboard inputs still work.

It turns out you don’t even have to turn any dials for this to occur, just zoom in for a while and you won’t be able to use the mouse to click on anything or move the camera around for a while. You can still use other peripherals to do all that, just not the mouse.

did you all ever find a fix to this? it happens in every plane ive flown regardless of avionics, just by sending a lot of mouse inputs by scrolling through com frequencies for example. i also have a logitech mouse and im surprised there isnt more noise about this issue since it makes the sim unplayable everytime you input new frequencies by scrolling knobs
