I was in the SU4 beta. I opted out of the beta, updated 1.66GB in the MS store, and launched the game. This is what I was greeted with.
Relaunched, same thing. Uninstalled and reinstalled launcher, same thing.
Hi @Nerbulus - can you confirm there are no more updates available for MSFS in the Windows Store?
Can confirm had the same thing then the update load bar in ms store went to the end then back so reinstalling the sim again 
Okay thank you! Yes it’s looking like the Beta testers have to reinstall the sim. Not great but might be the current process right now.

I fixed it! Thanks to @MortThe2nd, you have to log out of the MS Store, restart the PC, log back in, and relaunch the sim

No update here. MSFS correctly launches with 1.16.2.0.
Sadly the workaround didn’t do anything for me, I’m still prompted to download 85,33GB. Do you have any news on this matter?
Many Windows Store apps will auto-update in the background if your computer is online when a new app version is released. That happened here with the hotfix for WU4
