My heart goes out to this family and the pilot so sad. I was in New York last weekend, brother in law, his wife, my wife and myself had the same trip as this family. Same heliport different helicopter though same route.
I saw the photo of the 5 of them standing outside the helicopter as they were about to get in. If it was like our trip then there would have been another group in the aircraft waiting to get out as this photo was taken. I can’t imagine what they must be thinking. It crosses your mind a bit as you get in but you think of the long odds…
