Map of all Points of Interest, 3D Cities and Hand-Crafted Airports up tp World Update #19 Brazil, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana

Thank you for that detail. I think I have fixed that POI to reflect the taller uniquely shaped building. :+1:

I don’t know if you are still after data. But here is one I know about.

Pine Gap (23.79874°S 133.73697°E)

is the commonly used name for an Australian Earth station approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) south-west of the town of Alice Springs, Northern Territory in the centre of Australia which is operated by both Australia and the United States. Since 1988, it has been officially called the Joint Defence Facility Pine Gap (JDFPG); previously, it was known as Joint Defence Space Research Facility.

Here is another……>

Victoria Police Center Towers
311 Spencer St Melbourne, Vic

Thanks for sharing the map which I have imported to LittleNavMap.

I went looking for Drachenfels Castle (WU6) earlier today which is marked on your map as just south of Busenberg. While there is a ruined castle of that name in that location it is only visible in the texture data not as a POI and does not appear as a POI in that location on the in game world map.
The POI of that name appears to be a different ruined castle just south of Schloss Drachenburg, south of Bonn, marked simply as ā€œDrachenfelsā€ on Google Maps.

@antonvs3161 @Venford Thank you guys for the feedback and corrections. I’ll get to fixing those as soon as I can. As always, appreciate the help!

Greetings, aviators!

I have updated the map to include the World Update #9 airports, POI and cities.

There was only one POI which I have no idea where it is. It’s listed simply as: ā€œBigoā€. Perhaps our Italian friends can help me locate this?

Here we go:

I was making my own map for all the enhanced Italian airports, but the last dozen seem to be located in Cyprus… at least according to little nav map.

Did you find them? they are:
CX00
LC0A
LCGK
LCLK
LCPH
LCRA
LCAC
LCEN
LCKY
LCNC
LCTS

Greetings to all aviators.

I have updated the map to include the World Update 10 USA, which came out today. Same link in original post.

Enjoy! :small_airplane: :slightly_smiling_face:

This should be official!!! People like me with insufficient disk space, can’t have installed all official addons, each time I fly to a different part of the world, I need to download the oficial airports around the area. But… How can we know what official addons are nearby??

Thanks AcktuNasrabi, this is an awesome work.

(Sad is not included de SU11, casually I uninstalled the Worcester airfield in content manager, and I’ve tried to find it here)

+1 on that.

I have a lot of freeware and payware addons and it can become difficult to keep track of which ones I added and which are the handcrafted ones provided by MSFS. I like to check out all the MSFS stuff and I know Asobo publish lists of what’s new with every update, but using AcktuNasrabi’s map with its filters makes it a lot easier, and I still have not managed to visit every handcrafted POI, airport etc. provided by MSFS

You can make your own maps for all MSFS POIs, own made POIs, 3DCities and flight situations with FStarter.
With just a mouse click you are teleporting to the selected location.

Aloha everyone. :pineapple:

Just finished updating the map to include all the new airports and POIs for the latest World Update 13 Oceania.

Have fun

Thank you for your efforts on this wonderful collection of locations! Just discovered it a few days ago and have completed a full perimeter loop of Spain, on to Portugal now.

I was quite surprised to learn from your 3D Cities list that the city right next door to where I live was in the list! Where did you get this list from anyway? I don’t seem to recall ever reading anywhere that MS/Asobo were sharing which cities had photogrammetry.

Thanks again!

Thank you for your words! Glad the map has helped so many in their explorations!

To answer your question, by default, Windows comes with a program called simply: ā€œmapsā€. If you click on the start button in windows and type the word ā€œmapsā€ it should show up. In this program on the right side click on the three dots (…) and then ā€œ3D citiesā€. This is where Asobo got all of their photogrammery in the initial release of FS.

Thankfully going forward with each World Update, they provide a list of the new POI and PG cities.

Very interesting, never knew this app existed. Where do they publish the list of 3D cities on updates? I’ve only seen the list of starred airports and POI’s in the past.

Thx

They sometimes call them ā€œTIN (triangulated irregular network) citiesā€ in the publish notes, for example:
