Map Symbol

Quick question: On a NAV map, what do the round brown sewer covers signify?

Map Symbol

Sewer covers is probably the funniest and most innovative description I’ve heard about NDB symbols

Thank you.

I call 'em like I see 'em.

Where is this? I can’t conceive of a situation where you would have that many NDBs that close together.

Edit: ZSYN, Yancheng/Nanyang Airport, China
A stop on my world tour.

They are all marker beacons on an ILS approach. That is my guess without seeing approach plates.

They aren’t on the Jeppesen charts but based on the scale, I agree they are most likely marker beacons.

Did you note that I changed the airport? I grabbed the adjacent one on my log.

I did. It was the ZSYN charts I was looking at.
