Its good to see Airport Markers and others come with a black background - so much easier on the eyes if a little less immersive

The option to have that will be ideal, or even select the color of the text. In the air with clouds its hard to read flight numbers in white.
Moved to User Support Hub since not SU5 Beta related.
If not already requested, I would recommend to create an item in the Official Microsoft Flight Simulator > Wishlist .
