Why buying aircraft add-on if can’t show off to all people arrogantly in multiplayer even if they don’t have the add-on =_=
because they are fun to fly even without mp.
Well i agree tho, i bought eurofighter & the quality from functions & skin is good.
“BUT” when i play multiplayer with friend, my eurofighter become cessna in my friend screen. This make me so embarrassed to think i purchase this “cessna” thing with money as “eurofighter” haha =_=
In the end i change my aircraft, i can’t stand to see my eurofighter as cessna.

You really care what other people think so badly you won’t fly the new plane you just bought? Fly your jet and enjoy. Others already know this is an issue in the sim. When they see a Cessna buzzing the field at near Mach 1 and climbing at 5000 fpm, they already know it’s not a Cessna.

Then I guess you might as well delete your new plane. This isn’t something that will be fixed any time soon.
I prefer refund if possible but is not possible 
Perhaps consider this some advanced from of cloaking technology, like the TARDIS, where your plane appears as something else, but cannot be turned off, and is unpredictable.

Also, I’ve definitely seen someone flying a fighter jet. I wonder if I’m able to see the other jets because I’ve got a couple of the MS Store jets installed. I assume that other people can’t see what I’m flying unless they have the same plane model installed, otherwise the game probably defaults to a different aircraft. Don’t take my word for it though, this is a wild guess on behalf of someone who doesn’t know anything about how it all works. Interesting, though, because I was thinking the same thing yesterday while flying. Although it’s not hugely disappointing that I can’t flex my add-on. I’m totally cool with the demonic Cessna look.
Yes free / paid add-ons need to be installed in both players so they can see each other same add-ons.
I would love it if Microsoft ever made all Marketplace Aircraft visible to all players. Surely with all the updates they could add a basic unflyable model of all the multiplayer planes at least, so that everyone can see your shiny new aircraft. It would also be a selling point for the addon aircraft. Maybe a little update once a month… to add any new aircraft.

That would work if they did that - lower res “generic” models that everyone has and can be seen when someone is flying a non-standard plane. Perhaps some day we’ll get that. It would be nice.

Good point. IMO all aircraft sold through the marketplace should be seen by other players, simply not be flyable. The “skin-only” model does not take up a lot of space, and it is likely already downloaded anyway as part of the shop to be seen there.

I was on a group flight when someone came in for a short field landing and nailed it. Then I found out they were flying the Helicopter and not a Cessna.
It would be nice if we could see the correct aircraft being flown. But what if someone modifies their stock aircraft to have values equal to the jets?
I just do my flying alone or in a group and not worry about what other people do.
