Marketplace does not respond anymore when selecting "airports" button

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Sim update 1 MSFS2024: When going into the new marketplace and clicking on the button “airports” an ampty page with the loading circle is displayed but remains like this without loading or showing any results. Fortunately the “back” button is still working to leave this empty page.
The buttons “world” and “aircraft” are working.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time I try the button “airports” inside the marketplace it hangs like described above.

• Clicking on “Airports”, “World”, “Activities” or “Customization” displays an infinitely spinning circle.
ESC works to return one to the marketplace home page.

(Note: Clicking on “Aircraft” works - a list of aircraft is displayed)

Build: v1.3.23.0
MSFS Version: MS-Store, Premium Deluxe
No 3rd-Party or Community Addons (default installation)
Developer Mode is Off

• The only thing that works on my Marketplace PC is the Airplane tab but since I own every aircraft I guess it doesn’t have anything to load. None of the other tabs work. Just loading circles. Really?

World & Aircraft are working since I have items there. With The other categories I get the spinning circle since I guess there are no items to show. There should be an advisory message instead of the spinning circle.

This issue is due to the mentioned Marketplace categories not having any products to display, and the issue will resolve once they do. Sorry this isn’t clear in the UI.

If you’re receiving the spinning window on any of these Marketplace pages, you can use to Back button to leave the category page.

Thanks, but please consider for the future a proper solution, this what you suggested is just a workaround. 101 on UX design is to let the user know the current state of what they see. If they see a loading indicator without any other feedback then you will have reports like this every single time. A Simple “no content available at the moment, please come back later” will have sufficed.

Sorry but this is a bug. Instead of a spinning circle it should show a text “nothing available yet” or “no items yet”. Too the marketplace was announced as now beeing published “with thousend of available items” and an explanation, how items not beeing compatible yet are shown but I miss these “thousends of items” and not compatible items are not shown as not compatible yet but they are not shown at all.

Since yesterday this bug is solved.

Not for me. I still get a spinning circle and nothing happens. Even MS informed me with the announciation (Bell Icon) that new content is available in this section. (Enhanced Airport Graphics)

Today (March 25th 2025) the bug is alive again and worse than ever: The marketplace is completely empty except of one airport. This time all other categories are showing an empty page with loading circle too, even the MSFS upgrades or airplanes or the World Update Brazil is not shown anymore…

Edit: Just got the Sim Update 2 Beta - now the Marketplace works again…
