Incoming: MH-60 Launch Ops – 1st August @ 1230UTC
Attention all pilots!
We’ll be introducing the new MH-60 from Miltech on Thursday, 1st August at 1230UTC in MSFS2024.
Flight Plan:
- Launch operations from Garden Island, Perth (HMAS Stirling)
- Explore the naval base, coastal defenses, and surrounding islands
- Then push westward for carrier operations on the open ocean
- Expect naval vessels, realistic terrain, and dynamic ops!
To get the most out of this experience, we highly recommend installing the Miltech Carrier Pro scenery pack—it adds moving AI carriers and fully functional launch/recovery ops.
What to Expect Around Garden Island:
- HMAS Stirling, Australia’s largest naval base
- Realistic coastline with defense infrastructure and heliports
- Possible sightings of frigates, destroyers, and support vessels
- Stunning views of Cockburn Sound, Rottnest Island, and the WA coastline
This is a great opportunity to test the MH-60 in maritime/naval scenarios, so make sure your gear’s ready.
