This week I was originally planning to follow on from where Zed left us and continue our journey through Idaho. However, I’ve decided we’ll save that adventure for a few weeks until the Taylorcraft arrives in our hangars!
Instead, there’s somewhere I’ve wanted to take Bush Club back to ever since the National Park update…
Grand Teton National Park
The photogrammetry around Grand Teton is excellent, so today we’re going to slow things right down and spend some time exploring this spectacular part of the world.
We’ll be departing from Jackson Hole and loosely following the supplied flight plan through the mountains. The route isn’t particularly long, and we’ll be taking our time, deviating from the plan where something catches our eye and making a few stops along the way.
Preferred Aircraft
The preferred aircraft for today’s flight is the Got Friends Mini 500, or another slow helicopter with a turbine engine.
We’ll be operating at fairly high elevations around the mountains, so please keep that in mind when choosing your helicopter.

This one isn’t about getting from A to B as quickly as possible. We’ll keep the pace slow, explore the valleys and mountains, find some interesting places to put the helicopters down, and enjoy the scenery.
