During longer flights I sometimes like to be able to turn down or mute the master volume while listening to music or making phone calls WITHOUT first going to main menu and adjust audio settings. Is there some way of mapping a shortcut to adjust the master volume of just FS while in active flight?
a mute shortcut would be helpful …
with windows volume mixer you can adjust the volume of each app

I have a problem with sound after the last two updates, the sim with main simulator always was bound to the main volume of W10 and its main slider, now, while the loads pages of the sim in the beginning in some moment the sim achieve the max volume of the Decoder in DTS Interactive 5.1 and only remain bound to the master volume if I up or down it in W10 sound volume slider, the ATC voices¿¿??. Any idea, it is me? more with the same problem?. Only the sound stops when I mute the sound in W10.

Keyboards with media controls can be had for very little money. My L’tech keyboard and mouse pair ran me about $30 US at Office Depot.
I might be wrong but that would put you in the sad position of only being able to set Windows volume. Unless you figure out a “app volume” shortcut for a macro.
True, but when I think of listening to music, it’s usually on a mobile device.
