MEDIA
Check if this helps: edit usercfg.opt file and set the desired maximum FPS by modifying the line:
TargetFrameRateVR
Save changes.
No, the TargetFrameRateVR is for the dynamic setting. The Framelimiter has only one value, for Desktop and VR. I have written a start script adjusting the value to VR or Desktop, so I don’t have to change the setting in the simulator.

What I find annoying about this setting is that it doesn’t remember your last setting when you switch it ON/OFF. If you set a specific value last time (eg 45fps for VR), you are most likely going to want to set it to 45 again next time, not to the default 30 that it resets to every time.

I just don’t understand why there is no option in the ingame settings to get separate values in 2D and VR in the same config file. Why do we need to go in the settings each time to change this? Why?
Yeah, it’s still not separate in 1.6.31.0 SU4 Beta.
I now have a new monitor with VRR so I just activate max frame rate 46 for VR 90Hz reprojection and double it with framegeneration for 2D to 92 fps (if I ever use 2D instead of VR ever again).
