Landed a flight, got to the gate shut down the aircraft. Started new flight by pointing into the mcdu when on external power, but suddetly i can not click SID and waypoints (Nothing happen). Hassle to restart the game if you want to do a second flight, or is this just a bug in the sim? On my original flight im not plotted in the route into the mcdu, i just selected the one in the sim (High Altitude IFR) Maybe this is the problem?
if you are planning to do multiple flights in a session landing at multiple places, then you are best off just setting yourself to start at a gate or ramp at your initial starting airport and do NO further planning in the pre-flight menu, then click the fly button.
once at the initial gate/ramp use the MCDU to plan the first and all subsequent flights, you end up with far fewer issues in the main.
remember you need to set the FROM / TO points for airport to airport flight on the INIT page in the format “EGLL/EDDF” for example, for the first flight and then later subsequent flight, (doing so clears the prior flights waypoints etc, or if you make a mistake also clears the currant WP data)
Thank you for the feedback, yes i fear the in game route mess up my second flight.
Yes, i did put in the ICAO code for both depature and arrival airport.
Next time i will just start at an airport and plot things manually into the mcdu.
