I’ve been watching the Marvel movies, and the SHIELD Hoverjets look like they might be fun to fly. Supersonic speed, with VTOL capabilities. Cargo, Passenger, and Reconnaissance ability. A flight capability of a high speed , high altitude aircraft with hovering ability like a helicopter.
Unfortunately the WISHLIST rules do not want us wishing for anything that requires any third-party partnerships to produce.
So we can’t also suggest: The X-Men Blackbird, The original and new movie, Fantastic Four hover car, the Avengers Quinjet with J.A.R.V.I.S. AI. Or. Things like the STARK Daily Bugle ‘Reporters’ Hover car ( from the SPIDER-MAN ride at Universal Orlando ).
And. That’s kind of a bummer.
Excelsior!
So, the Thunderbirds wouldn’t be an option either? Oh well, worth a try.
Hi @Kinneas2020
The pinned topic guideline for this category says:
So one can request, for example, a specific aircraft livery for one of the default aircraft in MSFS (which might require Microsoft having to obtain a license from the company that has the copyright for that livery - e.g. British Airways), but one cannot make a request to a 2nd or 3rd-party developer for a livery for one of their aircraft, as obviously the developer owns the copyright to & source model & code for that aircraft.
Therefore, making a Wishlist request that Microsoft make the SHIELD Hoverjet is permitted. It’s up to Microsoft to decide if they would like to do that, & if so, presumably obtain the appropriate permissions from the copyright holder of that intellectual property to do so. ![]()
Since you have mentioned some other examples of “fantasy” aircraft that you would like to see in MSFS, I’ve edited the title and added the words “and other fantasy aircraft” so that this topic can include other aircraft of the same genre that users might like to see.
FSX had a mission where you have to intercept UFOs in F18s. The UFO from that mission as a flyable aircraft would make a neat addition to this category.
Would make a fun easter egg for people that played FSX too. Especially if you dont really explain what it is. Just upload it to the server and let people find it in thier hangers. ![]()
