ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: The gold mission in Japan for medium cargo is not showing as available. It states i need to complete the prerequiste list.
All items have been completed and all show ticked off in that specialist.
i have completed 11 flight exams and have over 3 million .
i have re examed a few just to see if that would re generate this gold mission
but to no avail, very frustrating.
i hope after all thatgrinding i dont have to reset my career.

Did you look in the Employee section or the Freelance section for that gold mission. It is If I recall, in the Employee section.

Thanks for yor reply. i looked in both employee and freelance, changed time of day and all parimiters, still no go.
It did generate the first time i qualified, but i didnt try and fly it till the following day, then it had disapeeared.
The mission itself is there but grayed out, says i need to complete all requirments, but i have done all that many times over.
i own the right aircraft and have 3 million or so, seems like a strange bug, but i cant progress to other things until i complete medium cargo mission, catch 22

To do this gold mission you don’t need your own plane usually. Sometimes the missions come back. It is, if i recall a cessna caravan for that mission. With a very windy landing on an island. It is strange because the gold mission normally hangs about until you do it. I can only suggest to try and progress in a different company in the meantime until someone trys to help you. Or take drastic action and reload the sim. I don’t know what would happen to your credits or planes you bought though. Good luck

Thanks for your input mate, i will just have to progress through medvac missions and others, pity to be cut out of a pathway by a strange mission bug,

Bonjour à tous, pour ma part deux mission apparaissent, celle de Miyake et une plus au sud du japon, de Kagoshima vers Hiroshima. Lorsque je clique sur celle de Miyake, ça me met systématiquement celle de Kagoshima. Je ne l’accepte pas, car je l’ai déjà faite lors d’une précédente partie et je n’avais pas de mission de frêt moyen disponible en freelance. Là je suis sur une nouvelle carrière.

I am trying to do the gold mission to Miyake village for medium transport in career mode on PS5. Click on it and it transports you to a gold mission further south to Hiroshima.

I tried restarting sim but it does the same thing. This possibly means I won’t be able to do medium cargo missions unless it registers the gold mission as done ???

This sounds similar to what happened to me. Initially I had two gold missions but whichever I clicked on I got the Hiroshima one. After I had done that I did manage to get meduim cargo missions in the Caravan for a day or so, but now there are none and they are not respawning, even in employee mode. Very frustrating!

Wow really, I did the Hiroshima one and it gave me more medium missions with the pc12 and 24. I ran out of time tonight but will try some Friday night. Oddly, I had another look into doing a short mission and it offered me 1.5 hr and 2.5 hr missions. I scrolled to the USA from Europe and then back and they all switched to 2hr missions. Something very messed up with career mode :confused:

i tried selling and re-buying the Caravan in case that triggered the missions to appear but no luck. I do have PC-12 missions, but I’m a few million short of being able to buy the plane so I’m stuck with the low paying employee missions for now.

Yep, never sell that 1st plane. Ouch, :grimacing:

The only way around that now is to buy the Cessna in freelance for cargo or vision jet in VIP.

Get a couple and at least every journey starts giving some passive earnings too. :slightly_smiling_face:
