Memory usage 32/64GB VR since SU15

Wondering if there are users playing VR with 64GB can share their experience.
Since the beta and now the final update I see in the dev mode that the sim sometimes uses up to 35GB of memory. My system had 32GB so I asume the overflow will be coming from the Virtual Memory.
Since the latest release notes mention that what is visible in the fps overview, emphasized text this is what the sim is using I asume this is correct.
I am thinking bout upgrading to 64GB to make sure that the sim can take what it needs.
Are there users here who can share their number of memory usage with 64Gb.
Really happy with the current release and the peformance but if I can improve more why not.
Running VR is extremly heavy for the system so all that can help is great.
Looking forward hearing youre experience.

ps Windows reports never higher usage then 25GB but I have i feeling this is not correct.

I have 32GB and I’ve seen SU15 Beta go over that around complex areas like KLAX.
Lowering texture resolution seems to mitigate that.

Sorry, not VR. But this shows what my system is using in SU15.
I have 64GB RAM (16GB used for a RAMdrive) and 24GB VRAM.

I haven’t seen a good explanation of what the sim calls ‘virtual memory.’
Perhaps as @hobanagerik suggested in another thread, it’s a cache file stored in RAM, instead of on disk. That would make sense from a reporting standpoint, and from a performance standpoint as well.

Did the upgrade and happy I did.
Sim is more responsive and I can see that in VR memory use can be high.
Already seen use of 37GB in JFK by Inibuilds. Large airports and higher lods benefits.
Thks for sharing :+1:
