I have reported this to zendesk about 2 or so days ago i know it takes time for them to get back so I’d thought that I would ask the forum for some help here…
So after the USA update, I was excited to see an airport close by that is known for its hill at the end of its runway but I noticed that the scenery elevation has barley changed (this area was in the LOD18) but a small airport close by had the perfect scenery I have tried everything for clearing cache to reinstalling the flight simulator, I feel like there is something that is corrupting its mesh files because I have reported it in the past before so does anyone else have any other tips i can try?
(Plus whenever I go into Developer mode and create a new scenery project the mesh fixes itself but as soon as I exit it goes back to being flat)
From the Release notes. You can check your location and see what the local LOD is.
You did download the World Update from the in-game marketplace right? (4.5GB)
To be honest, on that slightly rolling hilly landscape a higher LOD probably doesn’t make a difference anyways. It’s the more jagged peaks and valleys that benefit the most.
I have tried that, it never seems to save properly though and i’m saving it the correct way aswell. The shape files are all there it just never reads them for some reason.
I wish I could send you a video of what’s happening for a better explanation but I can’t since it breaks the NDA do you think i can upload it to youtube and send you the link?
whenever i try to upload a video on here it says it has to be under this exact amount of KB and that it breaks the NDA Basically the file is too large it was a 1 min video.
