METAR Report Frequency

Hi all. Complete noob question here because I’ve never used the feature.

Is there a universe frequency that you tune into at your departing airport to listen to the automated METAR report. Is it the same for 2020/2024?

IF an airport has such a frequenct (called ATIS: Automatic Terminal Information Service) it’s frequency is different on purpose for every airport (since you also need to be able to pick it up from the sky, having the same frequency would cause chaos)

Normally you can find the ATIS frequencies in the AIP from your country, or from charts from the airport.

In both MSFS, you can find them in the frequency window in the airport info windo in the world map.
