Hello, as announced MFS on XBOX S will be hardcoded to display only 1080p not limited to 30fps and on series X it will have 4k display capped to 30 fps. I have X series but my old TV is only 46" 1080p so MFS will be displayed 1080p.
Question is: will I befefit with more FPS because of fact that console will render in 1080 instead of 4k ?? This way I would achieve more than 30 fps but on 1080p. Am I right ?

I think in order to benefit from more FPS you would need a TV that supports VRR.
Like you, my TV is 1080p (on Series X). My understanding is that game is locked to 30fps and there isn’t a ‘performance’ mode that gives more frames. That said, it’s not a racing/combat game so 60fps wouldn’t necessarily add a great deal, the game is already working hard to give a solid 30fps - and your TV refresh rate may not display higher even if the sim delivered it.
of course my Sharp 46" 1080p does NOT support VRR, but of course can display in 1080p60, so in games I gave 1080p at 60fps. Question is MFS can on my XBOX X display same 1080 at 60 ?
hmm so in what configuration devs told that it will run 60 ?
What is your source suggesting that the Xbox MSFS can run at 60fps?
That’s not my understanding.

No, they said TVs with VRR enabled could push above 30 at times, but for consoles the FPS is 30

so to make a final sumup: on consoles, either xbox s or x, on TV (1080p or 4k), always NOT more than 30 fps ?
Correct, unless your TV supports VRR. Also 30 is the target, that’s not to say it won’t go a bit above that

i think if there is 1080p,the fps will be 60
No, that’s never been said, not on consoles

In a Simulator like this a steady 30fps is way better than a uncapped unstable framerate. 30 fps when locked will be more than enough

30fps should be fine on console. For PC not so much. Don’t like the input lag especially when using a mouse.
On my pc I almost never get an FPS over 30. And I’m perfectly fine with it. This isn’t a shooter where input lag will give you a disatvantage. I’m just happy it’s giving me a stable enough framerate, not like previous Flight Sims that swung wildly from 8 to 60 and back again.

Only people who can’t get higher FPS will say 30 fps is enough though.
Just like people with a cheap car will say it’s enough for them, until they can afford a better car.
There is a very big difference in smoothness especially when looking around or flying low over scenery.
That’s pretty elitist to say… If I’d lower my settings I could easily get a higher fps. But I like eyecandy more in Flight Simulator and if that’s with a lower FPS, so be it.
You shouldn’t forget that many people, myself included can’t get brand new gpu’s because of the massively inflated prices and general availability. Something Xbox Series X users never need to worry about. And even with a better gpu, I’m still of the opinion that a lower but stable framerate is way better than one that hits 60 (or more) only to fall back every few seconds to 30 or lower. Because it’s those hitches you’ll see and feel very much.

Agree with @jamesparet007 this is not a FPShooter or even sports, so is we can always get 30fps at 4K I will take it. I will be sitting in front of a 65 OLED HDR tv so this visual is more important and 30 fps will be spot on.

How is that elitist? I’m not getting 60 fps myself, almost nobody is currently.
But that won’t change the fact that it’s way smoother and makes flying low and fast feel way better.
The way you phrased it really suggested it. Like ‘those people’ don’t know any better because they never seen 60fps.
