When I updated to version 1.2.7.0 MSFS 2024, I no longer have my aircraft purchased in MSFS 2020 FSR500 - HondaJet - VisionJet were they in the previous version?
I just did some more testing. After patch number 3 taking off or landing at EDDF (streaming standard scenery) the sim stuttered like hell. I removed the standard scenery, installed Aerosofts version of EDDF and there was no stuttering with the Fenix at all!!! A very smooth experience.
That means: streamed airport sceneries cause serious stuttering during takeoff and landing.

It seems the cockpit lighting is adjusted for day vs night and they have it exactly backwards. The 172 lights actually do work, but they are too sim to see in the daytime.
Suddenly I have no Frelancer missions of any kind. Multiple multiple ctdās today. I have started the sim probably 9 times & have not quit to desktop once. All ctd. I have made no changes to anything, community folder is empty. Steam version i9-14900KF RTX 4080.
Thankfully a reinstall of 2024 isnāt a whole afternoon affair like 2020 was.

stutter fest at many airports, including LSZH, LSZR and LSGG. Prior to the patch, I made it to get somehow smooth (but still worse than 2020) but after this patch, it is stuttering badly, with the same settings. 4090/i-9 13900, VR only

The sim was stuck at 97%.
After killing it, I re-launched and got the pop-up. I went on in safe mode and reached the end.
I then disabled all my add-ons (in add-on linker) and the sim loaded ok.
Then I patiently try enabling my add-ons a few by a few to find the culprit.
During this process, Iāve been stuck at 97% a few times. I thought I have found the bad apple. I disabled this add-on and the sim loaded ok. Then I enabled itā¦and it worked. Finally, after 2 hours, with all my add-ons enabled, the sim loaded ok. But it is too late to fly.
I will try tomorrow.
Check your Library. I found that for me all of my addons were set to disabled and needed to each be re-enabled and then the sim restarted to bring them in. I think this is a move by Asobo to simplify everyoneās installations unless they opt-in.

I take it the Nav lights and strobe lights are the same?
sim is still very slow loading today. no different /no faster, than this morning. xbox x. maybe 8 mins vs 2-3
Microsoft, Iāve had enough. I paid over ā¬200 for the SIM and today I keep getting the error message ālow bandwidthā. Iāve had enough. Iām going to ask for my money back. Itās ā ā ā ā ā ā ā me off so much that I canāt take it anymore!!!
I dont see any difference between MFS 2020 and MFS 2024. In fact, if there is a difference MSFS is much better for the simple fact that performs betterā¦ I dont care to see beutiful plants in the ground, the main purpose of a flight simulator is to fly and not to collect flowers while you walk around.

Yeap, Back to being stuck at 14% loading and thatās as far as I getā¦
Reinstalled no problem. Ctd after install while entering missions map. Tried again & the map loaded but no freelance missions of any kind available.

There are a few posts about this over the last day or two.
In the SDK forum an actual Asobo dev confirmed that they have a fix ready for it already but they donāt know when the next patch will be. So weāre stuck with this for now until they do deploy it

No Flap Warning in career anymore, so thatās good.
However, parked aircraft still popin very close to the camera.
Ground Textures seem a bit blurry too.
I really wish theyād have added a startup log file with Patch #3 (which was requested from almost day one in 2020). Then at least some of the really smart people on these boards might be able to help others diagnose their CTDs and other issues.
On what system? Console or PC?
