Well this is beyond frustrating. PMDG said although Asobo finally brought in tools into MSFS 2024 for 3rd party aircraft devs to debug things, they still never fixed a major bug of memory allocation errors which now means 737 and 777 is dead stop until Asobo fixes this.
Jorg, please get this prioritized. We need REAL airliners in this sim. Yes, the Fenix is there, but we want Boeing too.

It is if youâre using a mouse on Xbox.
After downloading 1.2.7.0 , my premium deluxe aircraft downgraded to standart edition aircraft, for example i can not find cessna longitude .
What could be the solution ?
Fenix was able to bring their planes into msfs24 almost immediately. Why is pmdg having trouble? To charge us again?
Bummer, the game crashed midflight in my follow-up flight.
Most of the Fenix code runs outside the simulator (hence why itâs not on Xbox), all the PMDG code runs inside the sim, so itâs more susceptible to Asobo bugs. I think theyâll be charging for people to upgrade the 737s, but not the 777s IIRC.

Having used the sim a lot since the update, I conservatively think that it will take 18-24 months to fix the majority of bugs.
However, I can still fly with some aircraft and enjoy the flight.
Like most users, I think it should have been released as a beta with limited aircraft and regions and then slowly upgraded to full specification.
As long as users understood what they were buying, it would not have been a problem for most.
Finally, I think we should have the ability to only stream (or download) areas / countries / aircraft / activities that interest us.

You have to go into My Library and enable your community items. All of these were disabled by default on the latest patch.

I wonder where it stores that info external to the sim. Did you have to restart the sim after enabling them?
I had to, when I re-enabled my FlightFX Vision Jet. The payware one that is.

Boarding is extremely slow when using a stair. The passengers keep a covid++ distance between each other while the rest are crowding downstairs waiting for the previous passenger go into the door.

I put a simple flight between 2 airports. And I was completely mad before the end. The ATC was going to make me kill anybody I will find in any tower : âclimb to 3000 ftâŠdescent to 2200 ftâŠclimb to 3000 ftâŠdescent to 2200 ftâŠâ. Nobody can survive this without going crazy.
In the Norden, the floor was the siege of a strange effectâŠlike heat wavesâŠ
Ok. I ended the flight. I couldnât find any pleasure in this ####.

Same here. Looks like patch 3 cancelled all impressive smoothness improvements that initial versions of FS2024 brought compared to FS2020. Stutters and freezes at big airports are now worse than FS2020.

Impressive list but all round worse for me. VR framerates all over the place. Sometimes I canât even switch into VR, it ignores Ctrl Tab. If it does switch there is >50% it will crash. If it doesnât crash I get the exhaust plume in the cockpit, right-eye only. And of course the EFB is still unusable. I would really like to roll-back.

VR is just going to be problematic until they address it and alas, if 2020 is our guide VR will get its due, but only after several initial rounds of fixes and optimizations for the folks in 2D. As those fixes and optimizations tend to help everyone including those in 3D.
Early patching is like triage, and things must be prioritized based upon how game breaking a bug or issue is, and how many will be impacted by each fix.
Sadly, that means us folks in VR must wait. Or find workarounds. Like so many other VR games, the community may have to come up with fixes and optimizations well before the devs do. So rare to get a 2D game with brilliant VR out of the box on day one.
Unfortunately this made my experience worse. ATC communication never works, I canât use my TBM 930 plane anymore in career mode, the game sometimes stutters ever 2 seconds and wonât stop until I restart the game (this started after the patch), land textures load in slow. This game is a mess, and the 1.2.7 patch made it worse for me overall. Holy â â â â !
