I just wanted to see the state of the simulator, have not tried to use it for over a week.
Well - free flight - Germany - Airport selection - waiting for a runway to pick, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting - after 5 minutes i went to the discovery section, the pyramids.
Well loading circle, loading circle, loading circle.
That is happening on a 100 mbit/s line. IT actually worked for some time last week, after I saw the same issues on two different locations on two different computers.
Thank god I did not spend a dime on it, besides gamepass (and i was about to preorder the aviator steam version).
Guys, this is really, reaaaaally bad. No amount of âwe did not expect this many peopleâ explains this. What was the alpha test i participated for if not this connection aspect?
I will check back again during the holidays, but there is zero motivation to spend anything on this when gamepass expires.
I want this to work, but the experience feels so amateurish.

Anyone know of a way to have 2024 not freeze up when trying to exit the sim and have to reset settings again when reloading? Very annoyingâŠ

Looks better than what Iâm seeing. Is it possible that people are getting different results when it comes to photogrammetry? If so, I wonder why. I get internet speeds but I have a very fast internet connection. I also get graphics settings but I have a 4090 and my graphics settings are set to ultra. Thanks for accepting the challenge though, I appreciate it. Happy flying!
Iâm on a 3080 so on high settings, not ultra. Go figure!

HDR monitor a new acquisition, so still finding my way around how it all works. NVidia screen capture was the issue, game bar captures both HDR and SD images.

Always buy products for what they are. Not what they could be.
I have played 2020 for 6 hours this weekend. It has made me realise that 2024 is unfinished, buggy and has a flawed UI. In 2020 everything just works and is very easy. I can jump into an A320 neo, set a route and approach using the world map and start flying in 2min. Zero frustrations.
Next weekâs patch will be deal breaking for me.
-If itâs comprehensive and addresses some of the issues that I have experienced, I will buy 2024.
-If the patch is unambitious, I will refund my one monthâs gamepass and wait 2-3 months to buy 2024.

I think you have to wait much longer, because the way they have turned MSFS2024 up side down in comparison to the 2020 version, it will take more then a patch.

Have they started pushing out fixes server side. VR toolbar is working now and the bug when landing on raised helipads has gone.
But it happened to me 4 times too, but what happens?

Yes. Patch 2 broke some stuff that they were able to fix with a server side patch and I think patch 3 will have some server side fixes accompanying it as well.
Have we heard any updates on how aircraft are getting updated? I thought I read those developers who submitted updates potentially could see them pushed with the patch this week?
