Right so after much deciding and trying to figure out how I’m going to do this, I will be going Live this Wednesday at 7pm UK showing off Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Beta running on PlayStation 5.
I will do my best to answer any questions and show off as much as I can.

I’ve been impressed so far. However my wifi is a little poor on strength, so finding anything takes a long time to load. I need time to sit down and run through the controls and tutorials, but in a few quick flights, I’ve been mega impressed!!
looking forward to your review. May I request that if possible you do a flight in A400M (day/night). Whilst there has been some reviews of PS5 Msfs24 Beta on YouTube, seen nothing on the A400M. Maybe it’s not available in this beta release? Looks like the C-17 is also not available in this beta release? Their performance will be a factor in my possible purchase msfs24 on PS5 (also large airliners performance). If not keep saving for a “good” PC.
As the official forum for ps beta is not working (at least for me) here are my thoughts.
My impressions from the beta?
In general, they are rather good. When it comes to the default airliners from inibuilds - A320, A321, A330 - they work rather stable, with known issues as loud ac in the cockpit.
When it comes to the world and quality - for me when I’ve moved from cloud gaming (don’t ask, my first steps were there) - that’s a sensational jump in the quality. Game looks and runs absolutely beautiful on base ps5.
However, the default 737 for me is not playable at all. Stutters, cuts, textures are not loading at all. Disgusted by that.
Career mode - works 50/50. It crashes a lot from there. I’ve also noticed that when I’m completing the mission, my reputation instead of rising - it decreases O_o - but hey, that’s beta.

Yes I was unable to get onto the PS5 Beta Forums also.
I tried the 737 Max once but can’t say I flew it long enough to make judgement although yes I did encounter issues with this over others I’ve tried.
That said at this point my Live Stream later this evening will be the most time I’ve had/going to have on the Beta so yeah it could show other things but again I’ve made sure necessary disclaimers are given.
But yes from early impressions it bodes well for the launch as long as issues are fixed, good that this is beta and has enough time for any issues to be ironed out.
If you add even one more round, you’ll have a lot more sales later on. The game is fantastic on PlayStation — I hear that from many people. Please give us the opportunity too, we also want to play. I’m asking you, please do something about this. poseidonmodel@outlook.com my email
excellent review. Unfortunately couldn’t watch the livestream, however just rewatching the stream. Thanks for flighting the A400, few bugs but as you said this is a beta release. Msfs24 looks good on PS5. As a potential “casual “ flight simmer, PS5 version of Msfs24 ticks the boxes for good performance vs price point of the PS5 pro. My I request another livestream just before official release of PS5 Msfs24 in December.
Yeah I’m mighty impressed with it so far, even in Beta form.
I will be doing another few Live Streams, one is already planned for next Sunday at 7pm and I will just be doing some casual flying over some landmarks, I wanted to see how well it rendered in the grand canyon for example as it is stunning on PC and as you can see just as amazing on PS5.
I will do a 3rd Stream after further beta updates have been pushed and near to release.
I’m still deciding on whether to produce PS5 content for my Channel, I might be not as many as PC.
I will try dig my old one out and see if it works.
