Microsoft Store Package Dependency Installer-Every Start MSFS open this Installer ( infinite loop )

Hello,

i have a problem with the " Microsoft Store Package Dependency Installer ".
Each time , MSFS is started from start menu , the installer is opened.

First:
I must uninstall my MSFS , but here was the problem , in the start menu ,the MSFS App was not delete.

My new install of the MSFS was a disaster , the XboxApp blocked every time with error code. ( 0x87e00196 )
No way was possible , i reinstall MS Store App ,XboxApp and Gaming Services App.
But the install was every time blocked.

Only this way helps from a user in this forum:
1 Reset ms store app and cache via CMD.
CMD + wsreset.exe

2 Re-register microsoft store apps via powershell.
powershell +
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

3 Terminate, repair, reset: App installer, gaming services, microsoft store app, xbox app

It didn’t work right away, just running it again in Powershell would start the download in the Xbox app.

So my MSFS is complete install , all contents from content manager are installed.
Onlly repaints from Aviator Club , downloads don’t need and all marketplaces downloads are not installed.

I have delete my rolling cache in the MSFS , i have repair the MS Store App and reset to default the app.

What can i do , that the " Microsoft Store Package Dependency Installer " open each time after start the MSFS.
The MSFS finds nothing updates in the start and in the content manager under updates is nothing.
That is how a infinite loop.

Hope for help and say thank you.

Best Regards
Hendrik

Allow installation of apps from any source

Click the win10 icon in the lower left corner of the mouse, select settings in the pop-up page, then select application in the pop-up settings window, and click enter We select applications and functions here on the pop-up home page, and select “allow to install applications from any source” under application installation in the new window!

Hello,

My setting are " All over " in germany the word is " Überall".
Unfortunately, it still starts at startup.

Update OS (windows) to the latest version via windows update.
Also check optional updates.

Update all apps via microsoft store app.

Hello,

so I was able to solve my problem myself.
In the MSFS main menu I logged out and back in by name at the top right.
After that it checked for updates but found nothing, same as in the content manager.
I exited the MSFS but did not log out of the XboxApp , MS Store and shut down the PC.
After rebooting the PC, I logged out of both, logged into the MS Store, checked for updates that didn’t find anything, logged into the Xbox app and checked the Xbox network connection.
When I started the MSFS via admin via the start menu, it no longer came. the " Microsoft Store Package Dependency Installer " again.
Whether that was due to my intentions, I can’t say.

… you mean a TEMPORARY solution until the next day or so

I have the same issue, and only the powershell commands help… remove / reinstall microsoft gaming services… But that one is also temporary fix until the next day or for a few hours.

I gave a try to your suggested solution:

  • Starting the app with Administrator privileges: also helps only for 1 occassion.
  • Log-out / Log-in from the XBOX app: … sometimes help … for 1 occassion.

Does anyone has any PERMANENT solution for this issue?
