im convinced that your game is not loading all the scenery that it should, the question is why
- server/download/connection issues (happened to me.. it has since been fixed)
- not enough memory / a gazillion tasks in the background
- some bad scenery/aircraft/POI is causing trouble using more data than they should, so leaving less room for the game to load proper scenery

You said that issue started 7 weeks ago, now maybe 8. Do you remember if it was after a specific update of the sim ? or did you make any change, installed any addon right before issue started ?
Iâm running a top tier system and itâs the same for me.
Canât it be due to the optimisation work they did with the past SUs?
I mean, thereâs no such thing as a free meal, if you catch my drift âŠ
And I feel as if it got even worse with su15 beta. Could be wrong though âŠ

Began around the 3/7th of March. 7 - 8 weeks yes. I didnât note it in my diary kinda thing, it was a slow change, where all of a sudden after take off, 1 in 5 flights would have this issue. Ive looked at my install dates of all apps/addons etc, and the only thing around this time was a driver update from Logitech airbus hotus on the 4th March. It then Progressively got worst.
Any other weird stuff installed, was 4 weeks prior to this issue.
Today i am going to do a fresh uninstall with REVO. This time using the most aggressive remover option.

For me it feels like with every SU lod-distance is creeping up on me more and more

Your the 3rd person to say its the same now. So thatâs reassuring.
There was a MSFS update, it was around the 1-3rd March âi thinkâ and it was some FS base patch or something. Maybe that, maybe this, maybe my fault, not sure.
I donât think so. This is a cross platformâŠplatform. I think thats the price we have to pay. Besides. None of the gazillions of tips regarding performance increase that are postulated on this or any other forums ever worked for me. So I just gave up on it and wait for the next iteration of it.
While I surely cannot confirm they scaled down the visuals over time, I think I know this sim well enough to be pretty sure about that.

Oh wow, condolences. Thats a real kicker.
When this sim works its stunning, and its true that its the best sim around, nothing compares. But when problems arise, its a nightmare to get sorted, as im sure your aware.
Zendesk riminds me of one of those indian call centres, where usually they know nothing of the product, and ask you to perform basic checks like data on/off. When you tell them what youâve done already to remedy things, they respond by asking you to perform stuff youve just told em youâve tried. Like talking to a mute.
Have you tried a full re-install using an aggressive UN-installer? Its the only remedy i have left at this stage. Done this 3 times on a moderate scan and remove, but today the big guns are coming out, and i am hitting the âaggressive scan/cleanâ button.
Nuke it.
Believe me,Iâve tried em all and wonât be wasting any more time on it
What we are seeing is probably related to the engine and Asobo having to make this thing playable on nasa-computers and potatos alike. You can wipe and install fs95 or whatever 90s game as often as you want. Graphics will stay the same.
Donât forget this thing is distributed by MS. Whis is a blessing and a curse at the same time (because of my above statement)

I hear you, I also think its a memory management strategy gone awry. And i dont believe for a second SU15 is delayed due to a mere â1x Aircraft issueâ.
8 weeks ago, it was playable, now not.
But then your case arises, and its been ages youve had this issue, so to conclude, i think your SPOT ON correct.
