I’d like to have some military aircrafts, on the ground, on different airports ( freeware / payware airports )
Like F15, MB 339, Fiat G91 ( I own them )
Is that possible, guys ?

I think that depends on the traffic variety setting in MSFS. I grabbed the free F15 the other day and realized it popped up in many parking positions (I used KATL).
The plane was …, so I axed it again BTW.

The F15 filled those parking positions, both ramp and gate. At KATL there where probably 15+ all over the airport. The game uses whatever aircrafts you have installed for AI traffic, to my knowledge

Microsoft’s FS has always focused on civilian flight. You can track down mods to add military presence but if you want to do it right just grab DCS World on the side for combat flight.
Aircraft graveyards with fighter jets, helicopters, transports, bombers, and even old stuff can be found around the US too.
Theres a mil airport in SW Arizona forget the name offhand, but there are F-16 B-36 etc all sitting there in mothballs. You can see then with pg on or bing… try there.

Pretty sure they are excluded for security reasons. You wouldnt want such things being tracked in a flight simulator. I am prior and my spouse is active… the absence of military within MSFS was common sense to us.
Military never played much of a part in previous FS titles even with modding. Marketplace has some planes and there are plenty around the web but would not expect much in terms of populated bases and such.
There is a static scenery mod for Ramstein Air Base in Germany from gsdovah avaiable on flightsim.to

I’m pretty sure that whether an aircraft model will be used as part of scenery (at airports etc) is defined in the config for the aircraft itself.
Not sure whether the marketplace purchased versions restrict edit access to the configs but I think it’s possible to edit that in the versions purchased from external vendors.
Initial release of the Big Radials P.40 was appearing at airports but I’ve not seen it since I installed it’s update.
I also saw their seaplane appear at airports when I had it installed.
I own mb-339, T-45, Spitfire and Corsair and I’ve never seen those being used as scenery items. Only seen them if I have multiplayer active and a real player is using one.
P.40 had some rendering glitches when being used as scenery and I think there was some discussion of how to disable that in its config before it was updated.
Might be worth checking the thread for Big Radials P.40 on this forum for some insight into which parameter needs to be tweaked.
With huge developments in MSFS 2024 wondering if airports/ military bases can be populated with static planes especially at the handcrafted airports.Additionally one may have the option to park “Owned” planes at an airport of choice instead in Sim’ s hanger.For instance if one owns an F-16 it maybe parked at an airbase with a squadron of static F-16s.Same for airliners and civilian and military helicopters in preferred liveries.
Cockpits of all aircraft must have Pilots/Copilots.
Above suggestions for more realism and immersion.

Guys need some support on the preceding idea.With so much realism injected to the game/sim for 2024 I guess a platform may just be there for Techs in MSFS/Asobo to look into such a possibility.Present inventory of static planes at various airports is awful.
I would add another proposal that one lands at an airport/ location in whatever plane,next time one starts the game it should be at the same airport where it landed with option to start anew.
Just as some default handcrafted airports some Military airfields may also be created/ introduced.These are just some thoughts.
Hi Rash7009. I mentioned this thing of being able to find one’s plane where it was parked, with switches and fuel as one left it. I asked if there was this possibility at least 2 yrs ago. But it didn’t seem a popular wish. Strange since MSFS pretends to be a simulator. Too bad. But if you plan to make some “noise” on it, I’m with you.
