ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue: There are many used and disused military airports being used for Career mode. None of these have ICAO codes and cannot therefore be used in the MSFS flight Planner to plan OR check route is not flying over a restricted airspace.
They are never in the MSFS Flight Planner. Many of them are labelled with a couple of letters and then a couple of numbers. Never an ICAO code.
Please either add these to the flight planner or remove them from mission destinations/beginnings.
If they are in the beginning they often cause a restricted airspace ding.
ICAO, coordinates, or specific location: All over the map eg:- 55.887165, 38.048524 Moscow, Russia and another example:- 42.645304, 26,358850 Sliven, Bulgaria (LB17)
[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
This issue has always existed - ie pre the MSFS flight planner which is why it is probably causing an issue.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Always when encountering a military field.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
- Find a Career mission
- Try to check in the route MSFS Flight planner
- Find out it is a designated military airfield, it has no ICAO code so cant be cross checked although the mission can complete but is subject to either an airspace restriction ding before you even get in the plane or cant be used to check a route in the planner.
