Which one will be Out First? This one or the one from Asobo?
No one really knows … I will buy the version that is released first … and then the other one
At this time, we have no comment. We’re moving ahead is all I can/will say.
will the prop brake be model?
Yes… as will Motel Mode…
(the above is a joke… i KNOW it’s Hotel Mode)
alri cool ,lol
ATR refers to it as PROP BREAK in multiple official documents (no joke) .
This will probably be my main flyer.
It has a 280kt cruise.
It is faster than most GA, and slower than airliners.
A great view out of the cockpit.
Autopilot.
It isn’t a tail dragger.
And not entirely a glass cockpit.
It is capable of taking off and landing at smaller regional airports.
This is just my preference, so I am looking forward to it.
They may well be thinking of the 500…
-500 is also glass cockpit, it has all these glass analogue instruments .
Fly by wire as well by the way, steel flight control cables.
you (of all people) should know that I know that already…
Well correct me why don’t you
I looked online, and didn’t see this pics posted, not sure what I saw, but it was obviously wrong, regardless It will be the plane I fly.
The -600 is full glass cockpit, double FMS and electronic checklist. The -500 is old school with a tiny primary flight display and navigation display. I flew both, the -500 is a bit of a pain in the behind to fly, the -600 is a really nice aircraft and has much more modern avionics.
Thanks for clearing that up, I must have indeed looked at the 500 cockpit.
Actually I don’t mind glass cockpits, just not in GA , of which this sim is way too saturated.
will there be any efb to load passengers and ground equipment?
Yes… and we have some ideas about that…
Looking forward to this, cannot wait. Will be an insta purchase.
This looks awesome!
As I’m not all that familiar with your existing product lines, I’m curious: will this plane aim to be a “study level” plane? I know the definition of that can be a bit contentious… but what I mean is, do you guys aim to simulate systems to as great of a detail as possible, to the point where you can use the operations manual to figure out what to do, and expect the systems to behave as described? Or are you aiming to strike more of a balance between realism and ease of use?
you can bet
