Milviz C310R Official Thread

Okay. I was afraid I missed the email.

Love the USAF one. Did they actually fly that variant?

I really like the angle of the front strut

Hi all,

Don’t shoot me down … but…

I purchased the C310 via Orbx, I know right!

Do we know when the next update / SP will be released via that supplier?

Thank you, hopefully I don’t open Pandora’s box;

SP1 is not out since it was sent to buyers almost 2 months ago…
as i know, there is no release that so far…

We are looking at adding the modded AP (KAP140) that’s being done for the C172. This, if we do it, (it’s not a certainty) will add an extra two weeks. At least.

We do not intend on doing two SP’s… so… we will see. No promises either way. It’s moving forward.

So there will only be one update? That’s disappointing. I was assuming (hoping) that previously reported bugs that were not included in the beta SP1 would be fixed in a further update.

Why would you assume that we won’t fix everything that we can fix? That’s exactly why this is taking so long.

We’re trying to fix all of them…

Nota Bene: we intend to fix all that we can but, there are, likely, going to be some that prove impossible to fix. Fair warning.

Quite the opposite, actually. I did say that I was assuming (hoping) that previously reported bugs would be fixed. Thank you for clarifying.

As President Lincoln might say
You can fix some of the bugs all of the time, you can fix all of the bugs some of the time, but you can’t fix all of the bugs all of the time”.

– and even if you could, people would still BUG you

I will willingly wait an extra two weeks. Thanks.

Well said again.

Maybe release incremental updates instead of trying to accomplish everything in one massive “uber-update”?

There already is the Beta SP1. That could be considered your first update.

sounds like the update will take care of a lot of gripes. That’s awesome.

that could actually be more work, because packaging and posting a release is a whole process into itself

I remember MIlviz made a cheap comment about not issuing beta updates to Twin Cessnas but I’d much rather they did that than keep saying ‘next week’ for months and months.

Be patient. It is obvious that their commiment is there and that they really know what they are doing. Yes, it might be frustrating, but the aircraft is already good and if Milviz say that they are going to fix things, they should, on past and present experience for us all, actually deliver something worthwhile. I suspect that they learned a lot from the tease routine prior to release but should be complimented for their approach since.

Both of my favorites aircraft the 310R and 414AW

milviz take their time and release few updates while FSW release updates sometimes day after day

I prefer a mid term between looooong time to update and constat updates.
