ISSUE DESCRIPTION

None of my marketplace content from MSFS2020 is showing up in MSFS2024, including certain aircraft that are showing up as available for other players (example: Carenado Cessna 182 RG II).

Full list of marketplace aircraft not showing up is below. I don’t expect all of them to be available immediately, but the concern is that at least some seem to be available for other MSFS 2024 users so I am wondering what is wrong with my installation or account, including information regarding my Steam purchases:

Mooney M20 Ovation - Carenado
OV-10 Bronco - AzurPoly
Waco YMF5 - Carenado
Cessna 182RG II- Carenado
Antonov AN-2
ATR-42-600 / 72-600
Aviat Husky A-1C
Gee Bee Model Z and R-2 - Carenado
Top Rudder 103 Solo (it’s OK if this one never shows up again)
Beechcraft Model 18 - Microsoft/Carenado
Bleriot XI - Wing42
Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing - Microsoft/Carenado
Ford 4-AT Trimotor - Microsoft/Aeroplane Heavan
MG HJet HA420
P-40F Warhawk - Inibuids
Schweizer S300CB - Nemeth Designs
Super Decathlon - Hangar Studios 713
V35B Bonanza - Microsoft/Carenado
Wilga 35/80 Series - Gotfriends

I have the same issue. In FS2020, all my purchases are available in the marketplace, but none of my purchases show up in FS2024. Does anyone have a solution, or do I need to wait for the marketplace to be enabled?

Folks - go to My Library (from the Main Page in the sim, look for the Green Shopping Bag that’s labeled FS in the upper right next to your Gamertag). You will be sent to a page that says Marketplace Coming Soon, but My Library is the other tab in the upper left.

Once in My Library, use keywords to search for your content. You will likely find them tagged as Disabled. Click on them, then use the Enable option at the bottom of the screen. You will be prompted to reboot. It may take more than one reboot to get them to appear.

The Carenado 182RG is very bugged. It will likely not appear, no matter how many times I click Enable and reboot. The Mooney appears, but I also own the Skymaster and it shows up in the Mooney’s Livery Choices, not as a standalone plane. There is much work to be done by Carenado to make their planes forward-compatible with FS’24.

I have filed a Zendesk Ticket, suggest you do the same.

I have A LOT of 2020 content, and MANY are missing from 2024. I am aware of the process for activating the packages in the “My Library” menu. A large number of my aircraft are missing. Some I can think of just off the top of my head are Toag’s UH1H, Milviz Corsair, and the Golden Age Stearman. I’ve opened a ticket and got nothing but a canned response back.

Your Content.xml file may have Abrogating lines that are disabling those items. Check it and see.

Where do I find the content.xml file?

thanks!!!

I found the line for the huey in that file. It was marked “user disabled” despite being active in the library. I updated it to “activated” and restarted the sim, but the huey still does not appear.

This is an account entitlements issue. It’s taken me 2 months to finally get MS Support to migrate my 2020 account entitlements to 2024, because for some reason it’s not automatic. They won’t admit to doing regional rollouts, or scoped (geo or otherwise) testing of content being tested for 2024 compatibility, but I noticed from the launch that some people had all their 2020 aircraft and I had none. Some people were also boasting about buying 2020 aircraft on sale and immediately using them in 2024.

It’s been a long support thread to get MS Support to check that my 2024 account was using the correct gamertag as 2020 which is essentially the entitlements they refer to, and that I was actually missing content I should be seeing. I was more concerned about the account being connected correctly than I was in missing a few toy planes, because as a developer it was a core development issue for testing that they were both working properly from the one account.

About a month ago I got the 10 aircraft from 2020 premium deluxe/deluxe pack, but nothing else since then. These are 2020 ports as well, not native 2024 equivalents, which isn’t a bad thing as some of these 2024 versions - like the zlin shock ultra - are broken but the 2020 versions are fine.

Finally, yesterday, after some more prodding I get this:

Hi Sonicviz,

The entitlements for your carry-over content have been migrated. By default, non-Microsoft ported content is disabled. You can check the package status for more information:
· Streamed: Your carry-over is available in-game.
· Disabled: Your carry-over content may be causing issues with the sim and has been disabled. You can try enabling the content individually.
· Not available: The content may not have been reviewed or may not be compatible with MSFS 2024.

To find and enable your content, please do the following:
· Launch MSFS 2024
· Go to Marketplace
· Go to My library
· Type the name of the content you’re looking for
· If the status is “disabled,” select Enable
· Restart the sim

Kind regards,
Microsoft Flight Simulator Support Team

As stated above, I can now see all my 2020 content (ff, ll, 3rd party) and just have to enable it. I think the SU1 beta has negated the sim restart requirement now, but I haven’t got round to testing that yet.

So you may need to be persistent with MS Support to ensure that your full 2020 entitlements have been migrated to 2024.

They may have some hidden schedule to how they are processing entitlements, or maybe it’s just bugged and they doing it manually, but that’s my content saga so far.
Good luck!

Porting purchases from the 2020 marketplace to 2024 library has changed - approximately 10 days ago I purchased the Captain Sim SPAD s XIII from the 2020 market place on my XBox - showed up instantly in my 2024 library. Earlier today I purchased the Geirangerfjoid scenery in the 2020 marketplace but it does not appear anywhere in the 2024 library. The scenery appears in several 2024 videos and appears to have been written for 2024 - not sure why it is not available. Will not be making any further marketplace purchases until the 2024 market place becomes available.

As an aside, the SPAD s XIII aircraft works perfectly in MSFS 2020 but there are no clickable objects in the cockpit in MSFS 2024. There is a work around for MSFS 2024 on PC but not on XBox and because you need to change some settings on startup, the AC is unflyable on XBox at this time.

Lots of frustrations and little apparent real progress.

Bought a couple planes in 2020 a week or so ago. One worked fine in 2024. The other showed in library, but didnt work, even though marked streamed.

Then without a clear reason, the second one showed up.

Bought a 3rd plane in 2020 couple days ago, doesn’t even show in library. No idea what is going on with this mess.

I am still missing content from 2020 Marketplace I bought weeks ago.

Flight Replica Gypsy moth
Aeroplane Heaven Socata Rallye
Aeroplane Heaven Fury Nimrod
PWDT Ziln 142 etc

Why havent these come across yet, ir seems very random

I am still missing FlyTampa’s KLAS.

SamScene3D Tokyo landmarks is showing in my library but I can’t activate it because it notes “Not Available”.

Do I have to contact Microsoft to get these added or will they be added later?

Same here. I am missing FlyTampa’s KLAS, too. And Orbx Olbia LIEO.

For the Aerosoft CRJ it just shows 900/1000 variant being “Not available”. The base pack and the Boris sound pack are missing completely.

Today I was able to enable Tokyo Landmarks in my library. Finally! But I’m happy to have it working in 2024.

Fly Tampa KLAS is still missing in my library too.

Did OrbX LIEO show up in the library of someone? Mine ist still missing.

The Wing42 Bleriot XI aircraft is not listed in the Free Flight aircraft selection. The aircraft is enabled & streamed in MyLibrary. The MyLibrary menu does not give any indication why the aircraft would not be available to fly. It displays the tag “Unverified” by the creator, but this does not mean incompatible (all of the Aviator edition aircraft are also marked Unverified).

Same here, it is a fun little plane to fly, but cannot find it to fly in MSFS 2024. Downloading it in library does not work either

That is true, however, it also means it may not work, which appears to be the case with this aircraft.
