Missing POI - Chichén Itzá (Yucatán)

I just landed in ICAO: KABQ and I was planning my next trip as my next flight was going to be Mexico and I was going to then make a flight out to see Chichén Itzá (Yucatán) in the previous game it has a POI but the POI doesn’t appear to be showing up in 2024. It makes me question if the POI’s were brought forward from the last game or does everything have to be readded manually.

The marker? or the pyramid model? The model works for me… even set the date to march 20 to watch the sunset of the steps and cast the snake shadow.

I can see it on the world map:

And it is in the sim:

I wasn’t talking about the airport I was talking about the pyramid. Also I play on Xbox I see your on PC.

I’m talking on the Xbox, I think your playing on PC. It seems that at times the Xbox POI tags in the game lag.

I was referring to the pyramid too, there is a waypoint named “Chichen Itza” (should be the same on Xbox & PC). It is not what you are looking for ?

I see the bit of miscommunication; you call it a waypoint I called it a POI. But yes that’s what I’m looking for and it doesn’t appear on the map in Xbox. give me a few moments and I’ll take a screenshot of the world view in Mexico and you can see that the only thing that pops up for me are airports.

Okay I blame myself for two things:
1 - I have live weather turned on (you’ll see what I mean in the picture)
2 - I wasn’t zoomed in enough to see it.

I meant the blue POI the one up near the Piste airport that’s where the actual pyramid is. I kind of circled it with my in game cursor (ref: picture #2).

Yes, clouds don’t help to see the pyramide POI.

Just for curiosity, I have checked in FS2020 and if typing “Chichen” no POI (or waypoint) is returned even if on the world map the symbol is there (that is an issue IMO):

And looking at another famous POI like the Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, in FS2020 it identified as POI in the drop down list:

Whereas in FS2024 it is listed as waypoint:

I was not aware they renamed POI to Waypoint in FS2024. Maybe for a flight planning purpose ?

I was also not aware of the name change
but I successfully found it and flew the Chichen pyramid today
