Description of the issue: FYI - I have a cargo company and a VIP company in PS5
There is a marked difference in mission availability between PC version and PS5 version. Once in PS 5 version there is a marked difference in regional availabilty between employee and Freelance (apart from the last 2 pics which show a difference between PC and PS5 just in a freelance mode in EU) - no filters chosen other than employee or freelance. I have taken screenshots to demonstrate the differences.
Why is the PS5 version short of missions if it is the same version of the SIM?

As can be seen there is a marked difference for mission availability in Freelance vs Employee and a vast difference in missions between PS5 and PC

We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.
There may be some bugs, but we can’t really compare “mission maps” between two platforms, or even on the same platform (with the same user and under the same conditions), for two reasons:
The missions change dynamically as you move the map
There are display bugs when using the zoom function.
I’ve checked on XBox and PC : both have the same behaviour.
To illustrate this, let’s take a map of the Philippines.
1) Dynamic Change:
As you can see, int the “Freelancer mode” we have some “cargo - medium” missions here.
Yes I can compare maps. Go to the desert in UAE and see how many medium cargo missions you get for a C208 and a PC and then your xbox (which will most likely be different to the playstation by the way since xbox has been around for a lot longer!). Then you can scroll in to those airports and see how many missions are offered there. You will find only 1.
Filter for medium cargo and VIP private (map wont be so cluttered)
In your map your airport obviously has 2 or more from the same airport. This is why 1 is going N and the other S.
Then go to the Map in Africa I have showing, see how many C208 missions you find there or Private passenger. For PC and PS5 and freelance and compare with employee.
Yes you will get probably sightseeing and para missions but I don’t have those companies.
My PC and the PS5 have differing amounts of missions - I know about scrolling in I have done this for long enough and I tried to take the maps from a similar distance.
In fact I am flying a C208 mission right now in medium carge and in PS5 this morning there were 3 cargo missions available in the entire UAE/Israel/NE Africa close to coast. Do you have more than that on your pc right now?
Costing by the way - btw 25,000Cr and 60,000Cr to move your plane to the closest mission - Which is not how this should be.
For the UAE zone, I haven’t flown any Medium Cargo missions there in a long time, so I have all of them available (no missing missions that might have been recently completed).
On PC, I have several Medium Cargo missions, but none for the C208B
All of them are for the PC-12.
For the Israel sector (PC or XBOX), even in Employee mode, I have no missions for the C208B, only for the PC-12. For the C208B, I have missions but they are in Europe (or USA).
The explanation for the differences observed between PC and PS5 could stem from the player profile not being exactly the same (unlike on Xbox, where the same profile is used as on PC).
If your progress is slightly different between your PS5 and PC profiles, or if your companies don’t have exactly the same types of aircraft, this can influence the available missions.
This is particularly true for rescue missions.
With this type of company, you can have both planes and helicopters. To see rescue missions on the map, you obviously need to own such a company, but you won’t necessarily see all of them!
Indeed, some missions require a helicopter with a tow hook.
If you have other helicopters, that’s not enough to make those missions appear.
It seems that depending on the type of aircraft you own, not all missions are the same. The problem is that we don’t know the exact rules governing the selection of available missions.
Yes, xbox has been around for a while.
PS5 hasn’t.
You can note my list 2 pics. Those were only with medium cargo and private missions filtered. The difference is obvious.

Europe and UK in Freelance medium cargo and private missions - below (Much, much fewer)
{And can I please point out that a good 80% of those that do exist seem to go to the ALPS. Can missions please go to different places). ALPS do not have ILS as it is mostly VFR due to mountains.
Please, private missions do not strictly have to be linked to an event. Some folk fly just to visit or holiday. They also do this in other parts of the world not only EU and USA.
The testing team have asked if you could give some more detail about when you experience this issue, specifically are the screenshots you’ve shared above taken on the same day/time, or over multiple days?
Hi, when i took the photos, because there are a couple of entries by myself, the 1st report and entry, individually were taken at the same time. Obviously with a little time for me to fire up the different ps5 and pc and send to my email then to forum.
The second set at the bottom are on a different day as can be seen by the date. They are on PS5 only and at the same time within about 10mins of each other so I can post and paste.
I can look again if you like, I am currently on my PC version.

Hi Chewwy, Firstly thanks for looking into this to both you and the team. All pics at virtually the same time today.
Still NO missions for Private charter in most places of the world except EU and NE USA on both PC and PS5 in either freelance or employee. Pictures are the same in both PC and PS5.
I cant compare C208 Medium cargo anymore because I sold the PS5 one as it had almost NO missions outside of the EU and USA. I was paying upwards of 75,000 Cr to transfer it to a mission! I can’t yet afford a new one as missions keep crashing for no apparent reason so I stopped playing on PS5. I don’t know if todays updates will make any difference I haven’t tried.
For medium cargo with PC 24 they are the same on PC and PS5 now.
On PS5, the VIP missions, I have the CJ4 for those, in the EU have a small difference btw freelance and employee now.
Something has improved within the medium cargo mission maps but that might just be the PC24 with many more missions everywhere. Oddly there are now slightly more missions for PC24 in Freelance than employee.
Sorry I can’t help with the C208 missions now.
I did a comparison of the C172 and light cargo with pictures in PS5 and PC. The opposite seems true now - more missions in Freelance than employee - all good if thats the case. Something has improved - It would just be of great use if the Private charter and C208 cargo missions could be increased on the map please. These are the first missions most will come to to build up their credits to move on to the jets and improve earnings.
