Mission payment/credit system totally bugged

Started with 3CR.
Made Fixed wing CPL, had then 500 CR
(Can’t make rotorcraft CPL which should cost 3 CR)

Flown a mission with that outcome:

ok, after that mission:
500CR + 1 CR = 2 CR
everything ok? :upside_down_face:

back to school, Asobo

I have not seen this bug reported anywhere else, so I am posting here to seek some clarification. It seems like my credits are being…divided by 1,000?. For example, I started my career with 5 credits instead of 5,000. Additionally, the UI appears broken for me in cases like these:

2024-11-23 00_51_32-Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 - 1.1.9.0

Seems like only amounts bigger than 999 are being cropped, so it creates a chaos to understand prices

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

After my first commercial/paid flight (ferry flight) in career mode I got a faulty calculated income.

besides that I have now only 1cr in the bank, before the flight I had 500cr.

Same here. Seems like for some people, amounts higher than 999 are divided by 1000 (in the UI only):

This could be a regional problem.
Decimal and thousands separator
1,100 in DK is one point one, and 1.100 is one thousand, one hundred.
(Decimal separator - Wikipedia)

You are kinda right.

I changed my Windows region to be US and now the credits are shown right (using comma for thousand separator). However, I’ve seen multiple streamers with same region as me, that were getting the amount right, using points as thousand separator, so there should be something more to this.

As a workaround:
“settings” in win 11 (10 would be similar I think)
“time and language”
“language and region”

Under “Region”: regional format
(sorry, maybe it is different in english, I have a german OS)

so, you can keep your OS at your normal language, but change just the format. Works here now

“I had hoped to have found the solution here, but I’m already level 22 and still don’t have nearly the required amount of credits to start a business. I’ve adjusted everything according to the guide (I’m also using a German OS), but unfortunately, I was only paid 560 credits instead of 5600 for a goods transport mission… With such little progress, the career mode isn’t really as fun as it could be. Does anyone else have an idea of what I could adjust?”
