Mixed textures in ground at default airport DX12 Beta

I’m seeing this all over the place now. Is this a DX12 issue? TIST and TNCM below.



It is a DX12 issue, at least for almost everybody. Those who have it in DX11 most probably did not restart the sim after switching from DX12 to DX11…

Not really. It’s just an issue on DX11 as well. Never used DX12.

That is strange, might bo something else in DX11. In DX12 I get in on each and every airport, in DX11 I have never seen it anywhere

same on lfkj payware, not on lfkf payware, i ll try with dx11. is it random ? airports not updated for su10 or Su 11 ? non communication from Asobo for this topic ?

Well, clearly not my experience. I see myself that most users solve it just switching to DX11, but sadly not working for me. So, for the purpose of the topic, it’s important to know that is not only DX12 related.

For most it is a DX12 only problem (and yes that makes it DX12 related for them). For you and a couple others it’s not. I’d say that they may be two completely separate issues.

Have you considered doing a clean install of the sim or clean install of Windows?

I did when I switched to W11 three weeks ago, did not help

I had nothing but issues with win11. I just went with a fresh install of wind10 and it cleared most of my problems. May not be the case with yours.

This happens to me whenever i use dx12. dx11 just fine in this case.

No issues with W11 so far, and I had the texture bug with W10, so no reason to go back in my case

I wasn’t referring to the texture problem my bad. All the best.

i try with different DX 11 /12 it’s the Same issu Arizona BOrdeaux, Dordogne, Garonne, Departement an color River …

Same here, i mostly fly around bordeaux since S11, it’s everywhere and ruins immersion completly.

It clearly shows they have access to the last bing map data but it feels like they forgot to generate the images for the lower levels of detail with this new data or messed it up somehow. Then you have 2 different satellite data fighting each other when you get close. At least that’s what’s happening around Bassin d’Arcachon and along the atlantic coast for me. I can see the old data from afar and the new bing map data showing when i get close.

I really hope we will see a quick fix, i can’t understand how something like this goes through beta and ends up live.

Same problem on DX 11 or DX12, with a full or empty community, SIMU each time restarted. I’m on a 6800XT… Same thing with Nvidia?

Yes Nvidia has the same problem. Had it on my RTX 2060super.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

Yes on some airports (exemple > NZWN )

Filled a template I made before about this problem with a 6900XT in Dx12. Have no problems now with a 7900XTX from same AIB

Have you done enough testing?
Sometimes I fly and do not have it all. It is more common at 3rd party airports.
I’m on a RX6800 and do not have it all the time.

If it does not happen on the RX7xxx kudos to AMD.
