ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Whenever I press any key on the keyboard or long press left on the d-pad, mixture goes lean and engine starts to shut off.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Turn engine on (I use the Cessna 172)
  2. Press any key on keyboard or long press left on d-pad (Xbox controller)
  3. Engine shuts off.

Just clear all your control profiles by clicking clear then re-assign your buttons. I doubt this is a bug.

Even though no matter which keyboard key I click, mixture goes lean? Do you recommend just reset all of the keyboard keys? Why would it also impact my Xbox controller?

I’ve done everything. I’ve completely removed all key binds for the keyboard and controller. Reset my yolk and quadrant and no matter what I do if I press a key on the keyboard, my mixture goes lean. I re-binded ATC to enter and my mixture goes lean. I think this is a bug. I never had this issue with 2020.

Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. When I launch the game and am either on the runway or at the gate, and I turn on the aircraft, the displays in the cockpit turn on for a few seconds, but then they turn off after a while. This happens consistently, regardless of the aircraft I am using.

I have already tried:

  • Restarting the game
  • Checking graphics settings and drivers
  • Checking for game updates
  • I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but the issue persists.

Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, or does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this and how to fix it?
