Brief description of the issue:
Since SU5 I have been feeling something strange… something like “Why is the mixture at 45%? I think I had it at 60%” again and again.
But now I’m 100% sure that I’m not wrong, I tried several times this morning, setting the mixture to 100%, checking Automixture=OFF and AI-Automixture=OFF and… yes, it pulls of by itself very liiitle by liitle, but in like 10 mins it could pull of by 4% or so.
It feels like automixture is still ON despite being OFF everywere.
Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:
Screenshot_1: The mixture is set to 100%, check the clock
Screenshot_2: The mixture pulls of by itself. I taked this screenshot before “locking” on the mixture lever just to show that i’m not moving it when locking on it. Also, check the clock.
Screenshot_3: The value that the mixture went by itself.
Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
I found this with C172, but I had this feeling with other “manual mixture” planes like the C152.
Be sure that Automixture is OFF on “asistance options” and in the AI menu. Set the mixture to any value (it’s better if it’s off of correct mixture) and write in down. Let the plane fly like 10-15 mins and check if the mixture has changed byitself.
Also, try to change altitudes.
I had this problem with live weather, but I don’t think this is relevant at all.
PC specs and/or peripheral set up of relevant:
No relevant. But for info, I’m using a Thrustmaster Flight Stick X with NO HOTAS OR MIXTURE LEVER ASSIGNED (so it can not be the peripheral)
Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:
I had a feeling about this bug since SU5, but I have been thinking that I was wrong since this morning, when I tested it in version 1.21.13.0
