Yes

I gave it a run in the 930, and per the screenshot it would have ended “badly!”.

Just checked Skyvector and that is the terrain that is around the airport. They note 375’ terrain on appr to 18. MO00 - Turkey Mountain Airport | SkyVector

I think the point is the default visual approach aide isn’t set up well to deal with situations like this. I never use it except when testing situations like this, but I suspect there are some number of users that lean on this aide to help learn approaches, and some that use it for IFR approaches rather than learning the actual techniques (which can sometimes be daunting for someone without the time/desire to put in the effort needed to learn them).
No idea how many niche situations like this are in the sim, so the devs may just not be able to prioritize a fix for it any time soon.
Regards

VISUAL approaches are meant to be flown looking outside the cockpit in order to avoid any terrain, obstacles, other aircraft, and clouds. The visual aid is only an aid, not a tool to be used as a foolproof precision approach like an ILS. There are many runways around the world in MSFS where this visual aid cuts through or over terrain due to surround hills or mountains, not just at MO00.

MO00 is a VFR-only airport without any instrument approaches. This means that pilots are responsible to see and avoid any obstacles even if a landing aid goes through terrain.

I get that point.
But by MS’s numbers, there are 3 million purely casual players out there that will be using all sorts of aids within the sim for purposes they’re not intended for. Such as using the visual aid to “fly approaches” without worrying about whether it’s legal or realistic or even advisable. They just do it for the fun of bouncing around the sky and off the ground.
So if the aid is built just for “simmers”, then do away with it, because we aren’t going to use it. But if it’s there to help learn, or just have fun, then make sure it’s set up to not lead them into CFIT. They’ll just get frustrated that they followed the boxes and still hit something, and don’t understand the legalities of VFR, and most of them don’t want to know the rules or roles aids are meant to provide.

i think… Yellow is good than Red
3900ft runway length… is enough for moving

“See and avoid” is from IRL although MSFS allows multi-player aircraft to pass through other aircraft without collision.

Edit: summarized and removed unnecessary statements.

Well that’s pretty insulting and condescending to the millions of customers who want to occasionally “play” this app on their game pass (or who bought it and aren’t worried about the price), especially since one of MS’s stated goals is “no pilot left behind”. If folks want to do barrel rolls in 747’s without ever learning what VFR even means, that’s their right. But the learning aids that are available for casual gamers who might want to start learning should be reasonably accurate and not lead to negative results.
Fortunately, you don’t get a vote in what other people have to learn to enjoy the sim in their own manner.
