Modified default jetways help please

Hi guys, I really need your help please!
I imported the default jetway in blender and exported as custom jetway. Everything works just fine except the Capote and Door. For some reason it doesn’t generate them in the correct position in the sim.

I am sure i am missing something and i can not figure out what.
Here is how my project looks like, first picture is in object mode and second one in edit mode

Thank you in advanced!

Did you managed to solve this problem? It would be nice to know process… I will try

I had to create from scratch, unfortunately

Hello, could you share blender file, privately ?

I have no problem sharing the blender file, the problem is once you modify the tunnels or anything else the hood will look off. All the modifications needs to be done before adding the bones to the hood/entrance
I am working on a tutorial, give me couple of day, i will let you know when is done

Any news on tutorial?

My apologies for the delay, i have trouble with the hood again, ill be honest, i dont know how i made it work the first time, it is frustrating me so bad because i did it and have no idea what i did. Now the hood brakes the mesh a part and doesnt stretch it… I am still investigating what am i doing wrong , as soon as i figuer out that part, everything is ready, i just have to add to the video project .

I just figure out what i was doing wrong, i will finish the tutorial today

great man  !!!

But please i woult aprisiate .blender project even demo one to folow tutorial, thats how i fast lear
Tnx

The video is over 3 hours long , i will finnish it putting together tomorrow and release it. Sorry it took me longer than expected. The way i did the tutorial you dont need any blender file. You just follow everything i did and you are good to go. I made it easy for everyone to follow. This tutorial will cover everything, including aaplying multiple texture to the jetway and folder configuration. Its the most complex tutorial i ever made. I even left some of the mistake i made and how i correct them.
Because of the video length i will have to post the timeline with the key points for easy access to it.

Thank You for your effort  !!!

Here it is:

Dont be scare about the length, it is way faster to do it.
I just had to explain while i was doing it, plus i included the texture folder format.

Thank you  i can see what strugle you came trough  !!!

Basicaly you covered all aspects… 3h+ video is no easy job !

This is not for the beginers, and this is not for the users without Bledner experience. And this is just a warning to all people that want to start folowing this tutorial - it is not blender tutorial  It is “How You Create Jetways” for MSFS using Bledner

Hi, I found your video on YouTube, and finally managed to find this topic. Great job on the jetways, and the tutorial!

It would still be a lot of help to see a working Blender project with the default model. Do you know now why the hood stopped working? It would be amazing to be able to start from that working template and then remodel all the default models as needed, but have the animations working properly instead of having to replicate all the steps. Even if everyone would still have to replicate all the steps, it would still help to compare projects to see what’s different and why something wouldn’t work.

It’s so bad that 3DS Max template is included in SDK but not the Blender template. I’m sure a lot of people would love a working Blender template. Does it work exporting with Asobo Blender exporter? What settings are you using so all the animations would work? And what Blender version? I find that the exporter doesn’t really work with Blender 3.3LTS so I have to use 3.2, but it does work there. Though I didn’t do animations with that yet…

Thanks, and your work is much appreciated!

I second this. I would love to be able to simply modify the walls of an existing sample jetway object instead of having to learn to do all the bones and animations from scratch.

You can upload the jetways from the sdk sample folder in blender and try exporting it but I don’t think will work. You can try applying all transforms and make sure the cursor is to the world origin. You might have to position everything after applying transforms.
