Modifying file that lists essential packages

Hello,

I’ve been wanting to delete fs-base-cgl for a while since it takes up 60 gigs for offline textures that I never use. Problem is, it’s listed as an essential package that can’t be deleted, so it redownloads every time I try to delete it. In a thread a while ago, someone mentioned that there was an xml file that lists which packages were essential, so I’m trying to see if I can remove fs-base-cgl from that list. It’s called content_mandatory.xml, and I’m wondering where this file is found for steam installs. I don’t really mind if this introduces bugs, and I’d prob do a clean install if there were any issues.

Edit: here’s a link to the comment I’m talking about: [FIXED ON LIVE 1.19.8.0] You are missing packages that are essential to run Microsoft Flight Simulator. Please update the application and try again - #20 by andyjb1037219

Again I’m just wondering what the equivalent directory would be for a steam install.
