But that won’t send the game audio through that cable will it?
My current setup is via an eGPU (RTX2070, I think it will be enough to power the screen res 3440x1440) connected from my PC via Thunderbolt then HDMI from the eGPU box to the TV which sends the sound. Not sure that would still work if I have DP cable from box to monitor instead.
Oh, just looked and the DP does handle audio. Goodie!
