More detailed feedback in scoring missions

The mission scoring system is a bit opaque so it’s hard to know where I am losing points. Being able to click on the score and see a more detailed breakdown would be really helpful. At least if you could click on the score and it just gave a list of exactly what is being measured or more detail about how it is being scored, that would also be helpful.

Agree, I think I saw a Wishlist items for this already.

Similar except I’m rather hoping for better feedback in the career missions but better feedback in the challenges will be good too.

Ahah, I get it and voted. Yes both are needed.

Great! I voted. It is completely unclear how points and experience and reputation are awarded

Bumping this back up as having spent so much time in career mode, of all the issues I’ve experienced this is probably the most consistent frustration and should be easy to fix.

The system is scoring us based on some predefined rules the devs have set. Why can’t we see them? It would also help us diagnose bugs within the scoring.

For example. It appears that if the ATC gives you a different approach than you originally filed in your flight plan and you follow the new approach, you seem to get a low airline procedures score, even if you update plan in EFB/ and send to ATC & FMS.However, because we have no idea how the scores are assigned, I can’t say for sure if that is the issue.

ISSUE

Career mode mission scoring.
No indication of what you are doing wrong to negativity effect your score in

Passenger satisfaction.

Airline procedures.

Respect the condition of the aircraft.

I fly to the flight plan, dont bank too much, use Vnav and nav in AP, set the lights correctly.

I even spam radio calls when they are not needed by asking for the next waypoint etc.

I have never achieved more than 75% airline procedures in the 737 airline passenger missions.

The point is, i think it would be good at the end or during the flight you should have some indication of whatbis effecting the score.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

None installed.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Fly a mission in career
  2. Finish the mission and have no indication of why you received your score.

This is specially true also in Medevac missions. After a nearly perfect flight, soft take off and landing and turns with half bank, I still receive a complain about the coordination between the medical team and me and my qualification is reduced to a 25% or less. Why? Where did I go wrong?

Also a better feedback for the landings would be useful. I used FS Realistic in MSFS 2020 and it was fine.

I found that if I did the boring repeated walkaround my score went up, also correct shutdown - I agree that it is too heavily penalised though. I sometimes wonder too if the aircraft is not fully in the green with maintenance whether that affects scoring. Esp. where landing gear is still green but the maintenance schedule shows yellow maintenance needed.

You cant even do a the walk around on airline missions.

I just wish i knew what to try and improve on!

I expect this might be better-suited for the Wishlist - unfortunately I believe this is a “feature not a bug.”

I would argue it is a bug because it decreases your reputation for no reason.

The Devs will not even start to look at this issue for god knows how long if this is classed as a wish list item.

It’s only a bug if it was intended to show this and it doesn’t, unfortunately. Intent matters here, not impact.

Looks like we now get feedback!!
Perfect!

Oh? Would you mind sharing a screenshot? I’m away from the sim for the weekend but would love a preview.

Its not great! But at least its a start of what you are getting scored on.
Still no idea of why only 75% airline procedures, but its good to know they are looking at it.

Sorry for the bad pictures

I don’t believe those are new.

1st time ive noticed.
