Motion Reprojection (WMR) + Buttkicker = very shaky view in the cockpit

A few details about my setup first:

  • HP Reverb G2
  • RTX 3080 ti
  • 5800X3D
  • latest Nvidia drivers
  • Buttkicker Gamer 2

So far I haven’t used MR because I absolutely need the shaking reduction to overcome the oversensitivity of the G2. But I’d like to use motion reporojection as it results in very good smoothness in my tests. The downside is that the using MR means I have to disable shaking reduction and this results in the vibrations from my buttkicker causing the view in the cockpit to shake, making it unusable.

Does anybody know a way to work around this issue? Or am I doomed to not using MR if I want to use the buttkicker?

Sadly, this is an issue that is much pronounced in Win11. I have not seen or found a solution to this other than to revert back to win10

The Reverb G2 Windows 11 shaking issue can the worked around by covering two G2 side tracking cameras. I don’t know if this will be sufficient for the vibrations due to Buttkicker.
I use Buttkicker with Pimax Crystal, no shaking in the headset.

Hi thanks for that suggestion, I’ve already covered the side cameras but unfortunately it doesnt help with MR enabled. Looks like I just have to play without MR till I switch headsets
