Mountain Bush Flying: two sweet spots

while the Alps (and most alpine regions in the world for that mater) are still unusable for bush flying due to the wide DEM I found a nice substitute:
after the USA-update the Olympic NP and the Cascades (now at LOD 18, i.e. 1m mesh) offer stunning beauty and great oppertunities:
you can land with the Crafter and Caravan on snow fields with your choice of length and slope angle.
Cute detail without the skis: sometimes the tyres sink in, sometimes it seems to be hard spring pack. Well done Asobo!
I pretend to be in the steps of my pilot role model:

Thank you for the tip. There seems to be hope for better DEMs in the Alps and other mountain regions before Asebo gets around to update the region. A modder has made promising progress on importing data into the DEM. He has brought Finland to 20 meters definition. Not ideal, but it could be a breakthrough that will bring us Norway, the Alps and other interesting locations I high def DEM.

a beautiful day in the Cascades.
Kudos Asobo!!
