I am on the PC and still having issues with controls after SU6. The mouse and gamepad (XBOX Wired) still fight with one another and only one can be in use at a time. Mouse cursor vanishes almost instantly in some planes and when using both control devices it resets position of the mouse and hides all input at times. It’s a MESS. This is still broken and while I can understand it being bugged I can’t see how something like this goes unnoticed and unfixed for four months.
I have people asking me why hasn’t Asobo fixed this issue. It doesn’t just effect mouse and gamepad either it effects other devices in general. Now I can work around this issue but again we never had this problem until XBOX release. Again it also effects XBOX users who are complaining about it too. Please fix this for SU7.
As above I’d check to see if you have duplicate bindings. You may not have set them yourself but they could be in there.
Sounds like your controllers are fighting with each other. You might not move the mouse/pad but a slight drift on what it’s reporting could give the feedback you are seeing.
I’m not talking about drift either sorry. I’m talking about the sim only allowing one of these devices at a time to function entirely. It’s a bug from SU5 rewrite and needs to be sorted.
I can’t replicate it at all. My mouse (cursor) disappears after two or three seconds if I’m not moving it, which is fine by me. Moving any of my controllers while the mouse is displayed makes no difference. Mine must be setup differently.
Clicking my middle mouse button (wheel) alternates between interacting and panning around. My game pad is only set for using the drone.
Curious how many devices are fighting with each other like this still after updates. I’m using a wired OEM XBOX controller which was working just fine up until SU5. It’s not a control bind issue either. We also have reports of the same bug on XBOX so it has to be the rewrite causing this.
That is indeed the bug and what is worse is some times you will lose the mouse entirely as if you clicked middle mouse button but it won’t actually come back. You end up clicking madly to try and recover from that mode. Then the camera can start acting really funny jumping around and essentially disorientating you or your stream.
