I have simply configured controls for my Velocity Flight Stick and MIAP Pro24. Not even a single flight due to mouse issues. Friggin thing sucks (As Bill O’Reily would say)

flying study-level airliners on xbox without mouse freelook is almost impossible

Yeah it’s making flying with airlines impossible with the overly sensitive mouse drag
Yeah, its top 3 I think in the issue list, still under investigation and the dev stream didn’t sound promising on when we can expect a fix.
Can only hope they can find a fix soon and get it out with the next incoming patch.
To me it should be one of the top priorities.

I’ve been on tour for a month, and when I came back, loaded the sim, and saw my PMDG 737. I was ecstatic until I loaded it. Broken and unresponsive. Ah well…back to 2020 for me.

For a game that is so overhyped before, this is a real disappointment. The game doesn’t look good on Xbox X and the mouse is unusable. I regret spending $290 on the Aviator edition and would like a refund.

Try increasing your rolling cache size to at least 64 GB if you have space. Once I did this, 2024 looks and runs better than 2020 on my Xbox X, at least with small aircraft.
The only airliner I fly is the PMDG 738 and it’s still not compatible, so I can’t speak to airliners yet.
There are still some bugs, but I’m sticking with 2024.

So just watched the developer update on youtube to see what they would say about this.

Gee thanks. That would be great as its unplayable without a mouse. This shows the level of priority this has, ■■■■■■■ clown show.

Under investigation! That’s all we know so far, even that won’t be a fix in patch 3… Congrats!
I was hoping that today I could finally play at least on the 737 max, but today I refund this game, cause it is unacceptable guys 
I hope if there ppl reading this, don’t waste your money in this game at least if you are playing om xbox with mouse. Keep in Msfs2020 less worst but okay.

Seems weird that something so basic like camera mouse view still doesn’t work on Xbox. Makes it unplayable.

On Xbox here, I increased from 16 to 32 and saw improvement. I want to bump it to 64. Good to hear you see an improvement!

They did ask this question in this weeks livestream, to which they stated it needs more investigating, while this isnt yet a cure it is encouraging that its not being easily dismissed.
But it is kind of strange how mouse works in selection screens & menus etc but not in cockpit or cam mode.
We will see if its fixable. But at least now there is hope
It’s a critical issue. Makes the sim unplayable. It should be top of the list in bugs to fix.
These guys remind me of the old guys in the theater booth on the Muppet show. Only one that seems to have any sense is the guy from working title.

I agree its game breaking for many, me included but there are higher priority fixes that need addressing. Some customers can’t even access the sim at all. How would you feel if you were one of them but they were fixing things but not related to your issue? They have said they are investigating the issue, they could have ignored it all together in lew of lesser problems.
Try seeing the glass as half full rather than half empty.
Well, you can’t play it, I can’t play it. It’s the same. And they gave a one line remark about it. Doesn’t give me confidence.
Then throw the towel in, get a refund and vote with your feet. Nothing more can be done until they can do more

I haven’t paid a cent so far thank God. Free game pass till January.
As i have brought 2020, i am ditching gamepass because 2024 needs so much work and isnt fun, and they still havent got the nerve to open the poll yet.
